Haha, nah with 600 reviews I believe that's a good excuse. As long as that number of reviews has been stuck on 600 for a long time. ;-)

Oh, I made that one by request. If you got any template you think is needed there, or if you have made one by yourself, just send it to me (PM, MSN, AIM, e-mail or whatever) and I'll put it there. =)

Yeah, that I know.
That is certainly not made to bring a huge audience or anything, I'll just put templates there for forms to post in this thread.
So, use the Alphas when you wanna reach out through an own official statement. Use our templates and post them here and if it's intresting I'm sure whoever of us who's intrested by it will spread some information about it.

Intresting. I posted too.

I'm very interested. I've been looking forward to seeing new levels for a long time. It would be great if it was a bit easier to reach some certain level icons like the numchucks since I'd love to have an alt with that level. The only problem is, when will the site's redesign be put on NG? I don't know when exactly, but I think somewhere in 1 - 4 months time.

not sure how its going to work.. if all the icons would change or just 30 new ones and 30 old ones..
also, i will probably skip level 16 when they are implimented..
that will be so bad.. but i wont be levelling down.

we havnt seen them, but we knew johnny_utah has created the level icons..
and he is a sweet artist.
Its a real turn off when you can't advance any farther.
i agree.

i completly disagree with you, the way this site keeps people coming back is the stats, if they were to be cleared alot of people would leave.
and well.. it really wouldnt help..
there would still be all the drama and hatred.. plus alot more cause people would be pissed off there stuff was goooone.
worst. idea. ever.

I would love it if the new 30 levels would be atfer the golden spear, but that wouldn't be right. :| However, it would easily get me and my alts to the higher original level icons.

I think I'd be somewhere around level 22 when the new levels are added.

What about starting user accounts all over again? If so, then I would be able to take the name Bahamut. I'd also create 30 (or 60 if the new levels were added), so I'd have an account at each level. However, I wouldn't like to try and get over 30000 B/P, 1000 reviews and over 10000 posts again, and having to resubmit the flashes wouldn't be good since if the flashes would get deleted, I wouldn't be able to submit my first 2 flashes again. :| Overall, not a good idea, but there is something that I would like and that is having 30 or 60 accounts and having them at each different level.

most of the problems you seem to have with this site is exactly the same problems you find with most societies and communities..
there isnt that much difference between newgrounds and this so called "life"

I guarantee people don't care much about you here, no matter who you are. Stats define you here.

people only care about themselves in real life, its all about stats as well.
wealth, looks, fame.. etc..
its all the same.
You can't re-boot the site because some people can't get off the computer; it's simply their problem. If Newgrounds would be re-booted, it'd suddenly be NG's problem since people would stop comming here.

gumOnShoe, you owe me a profile picture. Snap, snap!
I hate to say it, but the only place I post nowadays is the Newgrounds Mafia, and a few times in other clubs. It's a good club, with great leadership, and allows me to write stories from time to time.
Considering how active I am, I've completely given up hope on my Wi/Ht? activeness. That's in my history books now.
I do have one question though: how can anyone like or even enjoy the General forum?

Hah! You're joking! It's far less than 10%!
Hehe, but what makes me visit it is those few threads who actually are worth reading and ofcourse the reoccuring threads there a new member is asking for some help. =)

I guess I'm above average in the general places of Newgrounds. I mean I made a tutorial of Newgrounds for n00bs.

i know i dont..
97% of it is complete crap.

I try liking the General forum, but it's too hard to post a hell lot there like I used to do. :( I might've been posting there less and less ever since I had my second destroy ban back in December. And that's the latest ban I've had.
Summarization of my post: The General forum sucks

After that, if they respond in a way I can't, then no more of that thread for me.
I find that sifting around the General forum for gold takes too long, when I could simply find the clubs I enjoy and post in them, or run over to the Politics forum and post in a dozen topics.
Simply put, the General forum normally won't work with me. My whole posting style is that I'll edit a post sometimes up to three times before posting to avoid stupid mistakes - natural habit. In the General forum, I've learned that waiting isn't exactly top notch, and I'm not the funniest guy here (quite frankly, I'm the opposite - which is horrible for a Newgrounder).
I gave up on General long ago. Actually, I only posted there for about two weeks. Really lowered my posting quality for a time.
At 7/25/06 09:02 PM, madknt wrote: 97% of it is complete crap.
It's too hard to find that elusive three percent in my opinion. Even then, alot of times I just read the topics and don't write down squat - not a way to get noticed...

Bans have never been a concern to me. If I get banned, I just deal with it and wait it out. No rush. However, ignoring bans, the topics in General are so bad anyways that it's the sort of thing you don't want to be associated with.

Well, if bans did scare me in the first place, I'd probably not have over 10k posts right now. :P It's too bad some of the fun topics on the General forum are considered as spam to the mods. That's what started to put me off the General forum. :| I also think C&C has gone down. I remember making around 10 - 20 posts in the C&C each day, but I'm not like that anymore, although I did make a bit more posts than I usually do in the C&C the other day. I know post count shouldn't really matter, but I care about post count just to show that I am an active poster and will try and stay active here.
I pretty much don't post in the general forum at all; too quick and random for my tastes. That and I don't care for forum postin gin general, hence my freakishly low post count.
The people in General forums are grossly underrated. There's one reason why everyone in general forums spouts crap endlessly: The topics that we give them are crap. Post a decent topic, and decent responses come. Intellectually stimulate someone, and their intellects will be stimulated. Cause + Effect.
