First of all, calm down. This is nothing to freak out over. They are just some exceptions to the rule. This is the only topic that you are actually allowed to post your own stats in. I'm guessing that they are still open just so that people can have an outlet for stat-whoring. Would you rather have this one thread or half of page one in General being covered in "OMFG I LEVELED UP"/"w00t 666 posts" threads?

It would be too hard to keep the same number posts and reviews. I could go for blams and exp. but it would be difficult to maintain.

You're counting stat list threads. Those are not against the rules. Read that rule more closely, and you'll see that it is aimed towards people who post their own stats, not lists of user stats that NG doesn't itself provide. You're certainly not the first n00b to whine about this, so just STFU and find some other way to make a name for yourself.
