Hey everybody, just letting you know that I finally hit my 10,000th blam today. Now, its mostly just trying to get into the top 50 for blams and saves. All the while trying to hit 10,000 posts as well. I dunno why I set the 10,000 post goal, but I did. Maybe it has something to do with me not doing much while I'm at work except posting and shit on NG.

Actually, that's kind of a running joke. I signed up for the account in '02, got a bit of experience and a few b/p's, then got bored and moved on. Off and on I'd get on the site to grab some exp and a few b/p's, but I wasn't on here regularly until a few months ago. I became active in Wi/Ht? a month and a half ago, and the rest is history. I'm just a living testament to the fact that you should always at least get your daily experience.

yeh definately. i mean, if you had spent 5 mins a day here everyday, you could be on like level 14 or above, i would guess....
im about a month or so away from level 13, that will be another end of year goal for me.

Unfortunately, we've all got sob stories like that. I worked out at one point that, had I bothered to deposit daily, I'd now have as much as gfox has ... but had he depositted every day, etc., etc. etc.

The portal is absolutely on fire tonight!! It's like every time I go there to check for new submissions there's at least 4 or 5 waiting for me.

The other thing is that the NG "day" isn't over yet. I run these based upon the recalc "day" which ends in 3 and a half hours. Plenty of time for people to pad their stats some more =)

Thanks for the manual time and effort. It would be interesting to see this same list at 4 in the morning. I never like seeing "the speedies" b/p amount late evening/early night because I usually wake up a few hours after everyone else and seem to start off with a little catching up to do. BUT, I usually don't go to bed until atleast 3 AM so I usually catch up and may even pass said speedies during these late late hours. I currently have 151 b/p today. (forgive any rambling/incoherence, I've been drinking a nice amount of beer tonight)

Since even the Excel set-up to maintain the minis requires a lot of manual work, I just do it based upon the people who managed to get coloured during the preceding update.

Just make a note of the last 2 or 3 digits of the PID assigned to the last flash upon which you voted. When you come back, check it against the first of the UJs on which you have not yet voted to see how many you've missed.

It's part of why I'm still up. Redid the speedies mini from what I needed for this morning to what I need for the upcoming week. At the recalc in ~half an hour I can do a mini that makes a bit more sense. I just hope Sunday is as good as Saturday for entries =)
