I never really liked York when I had a look there (early 2000). The campus is out in the middle of nowhere, and it just reminded me of a concrete jungle. It's also prone to flooding. Although that might have had a lot to do with me pretty much having already picked my firm (Warwick) and insurance (Leeds) by that point, and I was just having a look round to save me doing some chemistry on that day :-)

I like beer. Corona is good for taste and relaxing, but nothing more. Haven't really had that many kinds, Hein, Bud, some Belgian stuff... whatever. I don't drink that often (a Corona on the beach doesn't count... right?) but when I do, I like to get smashed, so I go for vodka (my trip to Russia was GREAT). I'm supposed to have a drinking contest sometime soon, but I think the guy is gonna chicken out.

Ever so slightly pissed off now (repeating myself from a post in another thread). One of my favourite albums (would call it a CD but that would be a misnomer) has got such bad copy protection on it that it crashes my computer. Fucking moronic label. I'd be seeing them live in the autumn if it wasn't for this. Trying to remember where I bought it. Think it was Fopp but I can't be sure.
