Congrats to the many, many level ups, rank ups, etc. over the past 5 days. (You really don't expect me to name every, single one, do you?)

And I checked out that flipsided site. Ya know, got an account and everything. Honestly, parts of the site are a rip(More or less), but not all parts of it. And the creator seems like an okay, cool guy. He probably thought he wouldn't have gotten in trouble.

Personally, I think if the Fulps are going to be taking this so seriously, then it should have been delt with in private, instead of opening a thread and accomplishing two things:
1. Turning the creator into a marked man on NG and on the internet.
2. Getting flipsided a hell of a lot more traffic.

Anyways, about you whistling question. How do you know know when to whistle or not? I mean, you seem to have a pretty good idea considering you already have the silver whistle. Either way, I will tell you what I do. When I whistle a movie it is for one of the following reasons.

1. I know it' stolen becuase I had seen it else where and I know that the current submitting auther did not make it (Rare)
2. Either it stats "Plz Ban dis!!!!!!!1111" or it's obviously made ot get blammed, then whsitle away
3. Gay/ normal porn slideshow pics or it's just some naked person.
4. Outwar or some other shit like that.

These are all under the movie discription on the movie viewing page so just read those and it should give you an general idea. If not, ask again, and I will try to respond better. I think I did an alright job though.

I coded 100% of th PHP, MySQL, and .htaccess for it. I got some of the script from various script websites.

the simply fact is that flipsided is just a tweak to NG. Most of the base components are the same, no matter who wrote them. There are alterations that they wanted included that are not here ... splitting blams from saves, dynamic rankings, XP for entries, etc.

The "Dying" attribute they use is useless. No UJ flash ever get a color. The only way to get the red is to go below 1.00. There's a couple of flash now under that mark that are being hit by a lot of people just to see what happens. One of those has been under 0.50 for a while, but still no "death to the dying" in sight. Voting 1 on a UJ counts as a vote to "keep," as the minimum needed is a 1.00 average. On 6 votes, you merely need to compile 6 points, presumably including a 5 from the author, to pass judgment so essentially everything submitted gets saved.

There's no flag or whistle system there. There's a bunch of stuff that's made it through that I highly doubt was submitted by the actual author.

ive done everything that are in the help guide to get points, but ive been stuck at 30 points for about 3 days now. i said for the ngs mags to be emailed, ive voted, ive reviewed..... can some one help me? please?

No, I didn't hack the place or anything like that. They set up the parameters for voting, I just abu err I mean used them, yeah used them, that's the ticket. With the rate things are submitted and virtually everything submitted being sav err kept, the chances of my being caught on bla err curbs is essentially nil.

I still want to see if any of these "dying" flashes ever actually do die. Very intriguing possibilities if you could actually vote something out of the portal that's made it ;)

Since you said you've both voted and reviewed, at least you iknow the difference there ... it's the main thing that new folks miss out on. You need to VOTE on (not review) five flashes. As each vote screen comes up, you should see a countdown just above the latest review on that movie telling you how many more you need to vote on to get to deposit your points. When you vote on the 5th, this will change to a link to depositing your experience.
