Since you said you've both voted and reviewed, at least you iknow the difference there ... it's the main thing that new folks miss out on. You need to VOTE on (not review) five flashes. As each vote screen comes up, you should see a countdown just above the latest review on that movie telling you how many more you need to vote on to get to deposit your points. When you vote on the 5th, this will change to a link to depositing your experience.

Yowza, i've been out of town all day and come back to find 2 pages of new stuff. Pure is back I see, were you counting down the seconds until your ban was up? hah. Nice achievement Shpouiten getting that 10,000th b/s. Definately shows some dedication there. Alpe, nice job hitting that 1,000th post too. I remember being content with my post count after hitting 1,000. I don't post much in general ( i used to post ther more awhile ago, but still never alot)so it took some time.

You cannot do anything else to get exp points. If you want blam/protect points, there are pently of those and they increase your voting power if you get a certain amount.

Dobio, I post a lot. I have made a lot of posts since I got of my ban. Yes, i'm glad to be back and had to catch up. I don't know how you define a post whore, but to me, it is a person who posts to show off post count, among other things. I post because I like to express opinions and talk about the topics at hand. Also, not all my posts have been one liners. They do get bigger, ya know. Lastly, I have admitted to being a spammer way back when. I didn't realize it then, but I do now. I have since made no one-word posts and have been adding more to my posts. Sometimes, I slip back into old habits. Old habits die hard, Dobio.

Well, i'm trying, but I have never been angry about a ban. They can be annoying, but it isn't the end of the world for me. Like I said, I had more important things to attend to this weekend. Besides, I think I deserved all of them.

Ways to get more experience points (which gives you level and base voting power) do not exist except for depositing. Every system that was in place to do so was removed after it got abused. You'll see a huge slow down in level gain and base VP gain after you hit level 9, so expect it.

One thing you can get into a lot is BPing. Vote on the under judgment flash for blams or protects and start racking up points. Although these don't actually change your level, experience, or base voting power, as you achieve each rank you receive a percentage bonus to your base VP.

For example, my base VP is 6.24 but my effective VP is 9.67 due to the big bonus I receive. Even a little bit of BP bonus goes a long way, so get cracking =)
