Yeah it was definitely automatic then.

I think I did better when you had to click the link to deposit your experience. I probably miss 2 weeks of deposits each year. I dropped a rank or two in the past couple of years. Cooper is gone so I don't have competition now.

2000 - 2003 I believe you had the option to gain exp by recommending others to NG but it was eventually stopped when it was seen that some users were exploiting the system by referring alts for themself to gain a lot of exp fast. 2003 - 2007 allowed for depositing in the amounts of 2, 4 ,6 ,8, or the full 10 points.

Hmm I guess I missed that. I did't catch people were exploiting the system I was keeping a keen eye on Top exp users and 2x10K Pentalists back in 2005-2007.

Well basically Aksumka got tired of maintaining it, and felt like he didn't have time to update it with newer resources either. With a server move the structure collapsed and he didn't feel like there was time/ the place was active enough to merit fixing it. He did ask if someone wanted to take over, I sent a message asking if I could but it might've been a bit late. He doesn't seem to be very active here anymore. No response. Do have some of the files saved, but not sure about everything.

Yes, reviews can take a long time. You have to get all your thoughts together, and make sure it is perfect before you finish it. There is nothing wrong with taking breaks from reviewing.
