It's gotta be rough, before you start making The Big Money. :P
True, but at some stage, you've got to Roll the Bones.

This is so, so true. When Queen were just starting up, their drummer Roger Taylor was told to 'stop breaking Drumsticks' because they couldn't afford it. Now that's doing it tough.

I'm back home now. Snow is much less extreme than it is in London which I am thankful for as I already had to change plans to get back from London; I didn't need to have shit disrupted in Liverpool/Wirral to get back so thankfully it was a breeze there. I've already finished the recap for the London meet and while I wanted some like Coop and Gagsy to have been there, I still enjoyed myself a lot. It's a damn shame we probably won't see another meet until next year but at least we all enjoyed ourselves while it lasted.

Listening to:

Mike Oldfield - Platinum

I think curious is the best way to describe my feelings about the new Sabbath album. It's like curiosity with a sprinkling of excitement on top. :P I'm going to listen to it and most likely enjoy it, but whether or not I come back to listen again, well, we'll just have to wait and see... :P

And I haven't listened to much Angel Witch, though I have heard of them. "Dead Sea Scrolls" is a solid tune, though, I agree.

I take it you were at least familiar with the song Angel Witch beforehand, though.

So, what kind of job did you have that had you raking in all that cash? :P

I only worked at a school nearby. The pay was quite generous but it's hard to complain. Nothing can quite beat the hospital job, though. I was getting paid roughly a tenner an hour.

Then you better keep it up and never leave us again! >:D
I feel like sticking around, and if I can get the Hexalist straightened out then I'll be married to Newgrounds, or at least to the wi/ht forum. Scary thought. :P

And providing you keep to the one list, hopefully it'll stay fresher for you. For me I felt it was about time I let one of the stats lists go and make it a bit easier on myself.

Well, if you haven't listened to this album in the 90's, then this album might not be for you. I think most of the praise the album gets is from people who listened to this when they where teenagers... that's not to say that "Body Count" is a bad album, but when you listen to this, you really can hear that it was written and produced in the 90's, heh.

Ah yes, the nostalgia. I can't argue with that as I can be a complete nostalgiatard at times but whatever is nostalgic to someone from years back can be something that looks outdated to another.

Never lazy, just the beginning.
I see, this is just another topic we can not reach an agreement on.

Yeah, it's pretty much that. At least with the shitblade debate it was mandatory to end after the 2012 redesign.

Finsterforst are a really good band. It's like throwing Moonsorrow, Equilibrium and Finntroll in a blender and this becomes the outcome.
But you have to extract that finntroll-acoustic-album first.

You should know what aspect of Finntroll I'm talking about.

I would have done that - I'd even come up with a few tracks that I was hopefully going to try...

I had the chance to do FOUR that night. They were:

Deep Purple - Highway Star
Genesis - Land of Confusion
Faith No More - Epic
Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train

I would have thrown Metallica in the mix except the only song of theirs they had was Enter Sandman. Shame, really since on the Sunfly Karaoke website they list the actual good songs like One, Battery and Master of Puppets. Could you imagine me taking the whole place by storm with Master of Puppets?

Yeah, though I've not listened to that album in its entirety. I've got it brought up on youtube as I type this reply. Sorceress is a good tune -the (rhythm) guitar has a certain...Iommi-like charm to it.

I only worked at a school nearby. The pay was quite generous but it's hard to complain. Nothing can quite beat the hospital job, though. I was getting paid roughly a tenner an hour.

*Googles tenner* (English slang totally escapes me, sorry.) So, were you working full-time or part? I honestly wouldn't mind making that money at even a part-time job, at this point and I was making $16.50 at my old job, with a modest amount of OT on the side, too.

And providing you keep to the one list, hopefully it'll stay fresher for you. For me I felt it was about time I let one of the stats lists go and make it a bit easier on myself.

I honestly miss being a list updater, so hopefully I can grasp this Hexalist business quickly -not just for my own sake, but for everyone who looks forward to those updates.

lol

Yeah, Enter Sandman is one of those songs that was just overplayed to death and not at all a surprise to see on a Karaoke machine.

To be fair, there's a lot of overplayed songs found on the karaoke list but one song I surprisingly didn't find on there was Gangnam Style. Sure, the lyrics are mostly foreign but the song's still catchy enough to be everywhere.

To be fair, there's a lot of overplayed songs found on the karaoke list but one song I surprisingly didn't find on there was Gangnam Style. Sure, the lyrics are mostly foreign but the song's still catchy enough to be everywhere.
I thought being overplayed was a prerequisite to being on a karaoke list. Then again, I've never done karaoke, so what the hell do I know. The lack of Gangnam Style is surprising, though -did it have the Numa Numa Dance? (I'm a fan of the classics.) :P

I didn't check for Numa Numa song. I don't know how they deal with non-English songs.

Weather forecasts tell me that it's going to be warmer next week. That would be really helpful. I was surprised that the public transportation system wasn't affected by all the snow. It's still as unreliable as it's used to be, heh.
Just yesterday a train had to wait 20 minutes before it could continue because a train in front of us broke down.

I hear there's more snow forecasted. Fuck.

Didn't think I was that good at phrasing things. :P
Well, as a native speaker you SHOULD be able to phrase things better than me in english. :P

English is complicated.

We still have Manowar to talk about.
I thought you didn't praise them as much as you used to since their last live show?

So... what about the times when you get angry?

No. Not really. :P
The only thing complicated is the different pronouncation of the same letters and the same pronouncation for different letters.

German on the other hand... I'm just glad I don't have to learn that fucked up bitch of a language as a foreign language. I think I would go mad.

We still have Manowar to talk about.

Don't get too carried away though, or you'll find yourself in a Red Barchetta with The Necromancer on your way to Rivendell!

Hardly, when I die, I'll release the Spirit of Radio :P

Two Lady's an hour? Not bad, I'm looking forward to when I ear a Commodore an hour ;)

Just to confuse you, by throwing even more obscure slang in there.
Coop, you bastard, you just blew my fucking mind.

Lady Godiva - Fiver (Five pound note). Commodore - the greatest hit ever released by Lionel Ritchie and the Commodores is Three Times A Lady. How much would that be, then?

With the combined efforts of Google image search and MS Paint, I was able to recreate how my brain interpreted that sentence. (The first pic may elude you, I think. Maybe.) :P

I've only studied Roman and Greek mythology, so I'm not too hot on Heiroglyphs... Dog Corn it?

Had to summon the old man for this one - something that he has to see, as well. He's taken one similar, in the slips, with no time to consciously react, just sticking your arm out and reeling it in. He looked like John Travolta, during Saturday Night Fever, at second slip, though.

Gutted man, absolutely gutted.
I really wish you were there. You would have loved hanging out with me and Dry-Ice. I think you've met him before but the three of us together, it would have been a lot of fun.

Yeah, he was a mod, we weren't, back then :P

FUCK YOU SNOOOOOOOOW!
Nah, I got some stuff done.
We can agree that the snow sucks, right?

Apparently, building snowmen is a good way to avoid flooding. I'm all for that.

The only one out of them that I'd have done would have been Faith No More... maybe Crazy Train, but I'd have gone for some others first.
And maybe a song between us because those are always fun.

Yeah, we could crucify something, upon your insistence :P

I would have thrown Metallica in the mix except the only song of theirs they had was Enter Sandman. Shame, really since on the Sunfly Karaoke website they list the actual good songs like One, Battery and Master of Puppets. Could you imagine me taking the whole place by storm with Master of Puppets?
Having had a quick look at their website, I'd have had to give The Trooper a shot. I need a red jacket and a Union Flag from somewhere...
We did The Trooper before.

Did we? Oh shit, yeah. Damn, I really want to do Flight of Icarus, or Dance of Death.

I've just come across a lot of less active accounts. I want to be top 85 by your next update!

I could also do that but I should also post dragon porn wherever I want. I did that on the staging server.

I remember that site you linked to here (in the lul) that had the dragon dildos -I can honestly say that I've never been the same since. Anyway, send Tom some dragon porn and tell him it's going to be the new site wallpaper.

Now that's what I'd call Something For Nothing. Unless... Unless you plan on taking us all with you with The Weapon! *gasp* (ok, this is getting hard.) lmao

A Lady is 5 and the Commodores...uh, so 15 then?

I've only studied Roman and Greek mythology, so I'm not too hot on Heiroglyphs... Dog Corn it?

lol, no hieroglyphs. The dog is a wolf named "Lady" from Game of Thrones. Then an "ear" or corn (unless that was a typo and you meant to spell earn...) And the computer is a Commodore 64.

I said you probably wouldn't get the first one because you told me you haven't read Game of Thrones yet. :P

*Jealous*

I thought you might be. ;)

Still a silly thing, though.

Perhaps Luis would be the ultimate sacrifice.

We did The Trooper before.

We might get lucky with Flight of Icarus. I know White Swan & Cuckoo have Different World but I only wonder how many will have heard that song. :P

These are the high ranks; they should never be easy.

With that vote, you now have 27,750 experience points. You need 0 more to get to Level 51. The next Grounds Gold day begins in 13 hours, 11 minutes, and 42 seconds.

Hmm, I almost forgot that I was to level up today on one of my few days off. That's good I guess.
