More work done to sort out crap in my bedroom, even though I didn't get a say on when I could go through my wardrobe. At least now all of that is cleared out and it's just a few drawers to sort out and then that'll be everything I don't want out of the house. On another note, I had another good night sleep, although I did sleep a little longer than needed. What do you expect when you're sleeping on a really comfortable bed and it feels so cold outside?

Eh, I'd rather it be easy on the way back just so I don't have to push a lot just to get back home. When I was still in the hell known as school, it was cycling downhill but getting back uphill and some paths were so steep I had to walk my bike up.I always liked the idea that you had to slog up the hill to get home, then you could make out that you'd had a far harder day at work and get sympathy for it.
I had no sympathy for the shithole school I was in so fuck it.

Especially when Download tend to have terrible bands on. It's bad enough Maiden have shit choices for support act for their live shows.
Yeah, that'll be the idea. This would be exceptional to go to a festival since after all, Germany just seem to do it a whole lot better. Mind you, IF I was to have a relationship with someone outside Britain, Germany is one place I wouldn't rule out providing there are reliable trains from London to get there. You'd have to get to Germany via France if you want to go by train, as far as I know. Planes are a much faster way to get here. ;)
Not much of a surprise there. I'm more comfortable with trains than I am with planes. And besides, trains should be cheaper than planes.

It worked really well. Also, the Ramones are still on stage, even though only Marky remains from one of the "real" Ramones.

Good question. There's a girl I know who was put on ritalin as a kid and her mom has since allowed the addition of several other meds since. It's to the point now where she needs them just to function normally in pretty much every way -not to mention she's underweight because the shit she's on suppresses appetite. Watching that kind of thing develop over the years has instilled in me a dislike for prescription drugs.

Actually, that sums me up.Yeah, I woke up at 11:30AM today. Still fine and maybe if I'm wearing myself out with work around the house, it'll be another easy night. You only have a sleeping problem when you are tired as hell but you simply cannot fall asleep.
Oh, okay. Well, hopefully it will sort itself out. If it doesn't, then you might seek medical treatment for it after all. :/
At least it's not a whole day waiting for the damn band.Especially when Download tend to have terrible bands on. It's bad enough Maiden have shit choices for support act for their live shows. Most support bands just suck ass.
But things tend to go wrong on festivals. Rain storms or other diffculties... Blind Guardian had to finish their show early on W:O:A 2002 because of a storm warning. No storm came, but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. I think there where some deaths because of a storm at some other festival earlier that year, but I can't seem to find anything about that.
Eh, you have to book TWO journeys just to get to Germany from here by train. Not much of a surprise there. I'm more comfortable with trains than I am with planes. And besides, trains should be cheaper than planes.I don't know if trains are really that much cheaper. But I do know that planes are just way faster.
Well, that's what you get for living on an island. :P

I watched that yesterday. Not bad, but I don't know... it's nothing too great either. Too much action and too little story.
I see.
They did put that up at the Olympics, I believe. It's not the same, like War of the Worlds with the hologram of Richard BurtonThe only reason I say never is that No-one could replace Freddie Mercury, like no-one could replace Michael Jackson. Sure, the music will be good, but it's not the same without them.Wasn't there a show once where they had Freddy on a big screen (various tapes from their live shows) and the rest of the band live on stage? Or maybe I'm just mixing that up with some other band.
Nah, I was thinking of some even that took place years ago. Actually, I'm pretty sure it was Queen.
Also, I never was a fan of MJ. Especially in his later days he was just annoying. The first album I ever purchased was Bad. I may not have agreed with some of the aspects of his personal life, but his singing was fantastic.
Well, he did have his moments. "Thriller" is awesome (not only because of the video) and "Billy Jean" is good as well.
Sorry Coop, I got the cold now but at least it will be out of the way for the meet.

He has made a great recovery. His illness was discovered soon enough and it's helped for the whole band to do regular check ups. This has been mandatory ever since the death of Dio.
One thing for sure, neither of us will consider having kids within the next five years. Next ten years on the other hand, depends how your life is at that point.Yeah, I just have this idea that I don't want kids in my 20's. I still feel like a kid myself a lot of the time, not to mention I'm not even close financially speaking.
Yeah, it's those two factors. This is why sometime in this decade I'd like to build up my finance.
You shouldn't even have to worry if he just signs up now.Sometimes I wonder, when I see these users from '08 and '09 with more exp. than me. :P
The EXP update can show you that easily. That's a likely case since NewsReporter is an 07 user and he's level 42.

At least self-titled albums are a tradition. Calling one album simply 13 after not recording an album in fucking ages is just unexciting.
Blackwater Park did give them the recognition they needed and they celebrated their 20th anniversary with this record for a very good reason.Yes, but the song "Deliverance" contains one of my favorite drum parts ever. Every time I listen to it, I think "how on earth can there exist people, that DON'T go crazy when they hear this?!"
Because people lack taste in music, that's why.

Medical treatment? Fuck that, I've tried that before and it's not helped me at all.

Great to hear. I can't wait to hear their new album.

I had a tidy sum stashed away, but then I lost my job and have been living off it now for a while. I hate watching it dwindle away slowly -all that hard work... ;_;

No, I'm saying I wonder at my ability (or lack there of) to deposit exp. on a regular basis. I KNOW there are '09 users who have more exp. than I do. :S
.
Well that sucks. HMV have gone into administration and I had a voucher waiting for when I'll go to Oxford Street in a few days time. Surely if anything is going to hell here, at least the shops will be open for this week so I'll make the most of it. If HMV does go down the tubes, then I'm pretty much done with high street shops for life.

I'll still listen to it but I'm really sceptical at this point.

Ugh, getting a job is going to be even harder with all these big companies going down. When I say this country will crash and burn, I say this is the beginning of the end.

Dear me. I think early 2010 users can get as much EXP as you have now.

No, self-titling the debut album is just lack of creativity. Also, I doubt that Black Sabbath '13' will be as good as the other album, that comes to my mind: 13, lol.

Yeah, just not in the world of Black Sabbath. Maybe they took a leaf out of Adele's book, though that should make their latest one... 191

I think that the fact that they have been in business for 44 years and have had a sum total of five members. I mean, Maiden currently has six.I know they had a drummer before Peart; who was the 5th, another guitarist, I assume?
Jeff Jones was a founding member, along with Alex Lifeson and John Rutsey. He was a bassist and their vocalist.

I loved that, plus the whole film, Moonwalker. Something that is very him, when he was at the height of his popularity, circa Bad.
