I think I talked with Auz about that. Linving in a city with a superb public transportation system I have learned one thing: Wake up when it's time to get off the bus/train. Usually I wake up one station before I have to get off. I only missed my station twice in the entire time I have short naps on the train. Once I got up too late, didn't realize my mistake at first and changed to the line I had to take anyway (my luck that it was possible to change lines on that station as well).
Second time I remember, I got out too early, realized my mistake and got back on the train again before the doors closed. *phew*

Usually I wake up one station before I have to get off. I only missed my station twice in the entire time I have short naps on the train. Once I got up too late, didn't realize my mistake at first and changed to the line I had to take anyway (my luck that it was possible to change lines on that station as well).
Second time I remember, I got out too early, realized my mistake and got back on the train again before the doors closed. *phew*

One Christmas my dad fell asleep on the bus and by the time he woke up he was back at the Birkenhead station and asked the driver if the bus even started. It went a complete lap and he was asleep all that time.
