I'm very relieved things got fixed on my end and all it took was a five minutes call. I was worried they were going to send me a new modem or something and I would have to wait for weeks before I would finally have an internet connection again.

Finally after years of lurking around the Under Judgement flashes and seeing some seriously messed up stuff and a lot of awful animations I've reached Supreme Commander rank! It was totally worth it for that 60% extra voting power.

Thankfully my internet has recovered so sites are working again without having to use a proxy. Gotta say, when sites like Twitter and BBC News become unavailable, that's when the ISP have miserably failed. At least now I can do the EXP update without having to delay it.

Haggard, let's just say you're damn lucky right now. You ALMOST missed a deposit last night and that would have been the case had it not been for my internet recovering much sooner than expected.

They sound reliable, unlike Virgin Media who insist it's always a fault on your end. Getting out technicians, claiming it's an issue with your PC, bah! It's always clearly the case that it's a problem with the ISP. That's why I didn't go and phone them up. Others who are also unfortunate enough to be with them got their attention on Virgin Media's help forum.

So to my understanding there are only just over 200 Supreme Commanders on the site, it's a very exclusive group, so to get two new Supreme Commanders in the space of a day or two must be pretty special right?

<Start Rant> I'm more than a little disappointed right now. I was having a good race to 50,000 B/P with JustCruizin88 and on the pace we were both moving along at (fair at the time) I would have pipped him to the post by under a handful of votes. I've been checking our stats daily to keep the race to 50,000 B/P interesting. But it's hard to not be disappointed when you compare both of our last 100 B/P attained. JustCruizin88 with an appalling 98 saves and 2 blams. That's a 49 to 1 ratio. Compared to Me 73 saves and 27 blams. That's a 2.7 to 1 ratio. Seems another user has no scruples and apparently a problem with pressing his 0 and 1 buttons. So much for keeping it real and having a decent fair competition. The sooner the Whistle System is re-implemented the better. <End Rant>

Meh; in 2004 I guess. I watched people make it in 8 months and then others not make it at all. There was a great deal of bullshit entering the portal for a long while and I rather hated it so I lost interest. Lately I have enjoyed watching all the stuff come in. And the fanboys of Bitey have let up with their downvoting of good stuff to keep Adam Phillips on top. All things right themselves eventually.
I had hoped for a better vote power tho. Currently its only 14.58 votes. I hoped it would go at least to 15. Perhaps with the next level :-)

Due to slower activity of the portal, it's not as easy to see more users reaching Supreme Commander in a single week. Clock Day from years back saw tons of rank ups in a single week but all we see is just additional activity and nothing else. What happened here, you may ask? I blame YouTube.

That's a huge if. While it would be nice to see users getting penalised for dishonest voting, it's very rare that it's happened all this time. Apart from bots and the odd user who was abusing the voting power, very little have been punished. I don't know about any events prior to myself signing up so others will have to fill that in for you.

Maybe they're better over here. Also, it's been a decade since I last went on their airlines and that was for Florida. I will say that the trains are efficient for getting to London from Liverpool within two hours.

15 VP isn't reachable until the end of level 53/start of level 54 and then after that it's looking forward to the big level 60 for 16 VP. I'll see 15 VP next April and I only have around 1,050 days until level 60. I don't have so much time with levelling up now.

4K resolution. In short: It's a resolution that is used for newer movies (especially computer generated movies, I think). But I think not many cinemas support this standard. And I read that you can't see any difference to the old 2K resolution on a huge cinema screen anyway.

10 Pound is quite a lot. But I think the time traveling wouldn't be that much longer than what I used to travel to gaming shops (about 1 hour and a few minutes to get there). But I only payed about 5 Euros back then for a day ticket. Good god, now a day ticket costs about 10 Euros...

From Liverpool to Manchester is just an hour and to go from Wirral to Liverpool is even further travelling time. Far too much to go to one place on a regular basis.

Well, sometimes I need an hour and a half to get from here to University (it's scattered all across town. Some departments are not located at the main campus). But I only need this long if I miss every connection while changing lines, which luckily doesn't happen that often.
