Even when considering his main videos, NC and Bum Reviews were at their best in 2008. 2009 still had plenty of moments but 2010 had many forgettable videos. Both of these characters are drawn out at this point.

I liked his more serious work, like his top 11 lists and everything. Last time I watched them was probably around 2008-2009 though.

I didn't even mention the worst part of Subparban Knights.

I thought 50 minutes of trash talking Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was enough. I went through that but there was a lot of time spent on "Is movie X better or worse than Transformers?" More and more I focus on other video makers for genuine reviews. A lot I've seen are straight to the point and don't drag for 30 minutes.

Oh yeah, that was a bit silly. His brother is probably a nice guy and he has decent things to say at times, but most of the reviews Spoony does with him drag on for too long indeed.

At least his brother is willing to take part in some of his videos.

I'll throw in some videos. Boycotting and the current state of Square Enix are good examples of what he does on a weekly basis.

I do like his style and 5-6 minutes is a reasonable amount of time.

He was a lot better than John Major. That much is a given. By the looks of it by tomorrow morning I shall have finally reached the rank of Private First Class. It's not a particularly high rank at all, however this kinda stands out to me as the first intentional rank up I have experienced since 2009, when I reached Police Captain and after 475 or so more BP disregarded the UJ section until a spammer had their account deleted, adding blams to my account for the fourty or so flashes of theirs that I had downvoted and getting me out of the Police ranks, thus ending my time with the NGPD, after I had effectively given up on B/Ping. After a few days of moderate voting, I once again became inactive, however in the past two days I have accumulated around 90 points, proving that just checking back occasionally is all that's necessary to begin rising through the ranks again, as I intend to do. :D

After a particularly disappointing morning in the portal (with a lot of missed points), I finally managed to get the final five B/P necessary in order to attain a new rank for the first time in quite a while. I expected to get it as I slept last night, as there were eight Flashes I had outstanding votes on, but I got just two points from all of those due to the high number of low quality flashes passing, however eventually I got there. :D

Oh well, if I remember correctly Spoony mentioned that he wasn't going to use the Dr Insano character that much anyway. It was too heavy on his voice.

Well that is curious, since most people seem to hate the series with a passion nowadays. But it's always nice if there's someone out there who's still willing to do some defending.

Oooh yes that was where he warned the video game industry that they might go down the same track as the comic book industry. Yeah, he had some really good points there. Despite the fact that he has a huge Nintendo fanboy, I think he's right that Nintendo is the only one with a good longterm marketing strategy. Namely: Aim at the younger audience.
