I wonder how many hundreds of pages have passed since I last posted here. i could make a real badass congratulations list.

Anyways, I noticed I passed 30k experience points the other day, I felt it was worthy of a post since I remember thinking of 30k as the maximum back in the good old day. Should I not have some pictures by now? Oh and yes today I levelled up.

I'm surprised to see some familiar faces in here. Bahamut for instance, I'm impressed! Or is impressed not the word I'm looking for?

Overestimating technology has happened before and I suppose it will happen again. Not related to video games but I want to see spaceships and such. Not the NASA kind rockets, spaceships that you see in sci-fi. :P Something like that probably won't happen until well after I'm gone. Ah well.

The only film I've seen that was moderately close to predicting the future is 2001: A Space Odyssey. Okay, we're not quite able to go as far as Jupiter yet and AI wasn't as advanced at the time, but we have a space station, we've been on the moon and I think the space suits, spacecraft equipment and board computers pretty closely resemble what we have now (and had 10 years ago). The film was made in 1968, just before men took their first steps on the moon, so this is a pretty impressive job if you ask me.

I would make a bet that we will still be able to see the first man landing on Mars in our lifetime. Whether we will have those Star Trek like spaceships by then, I doubt it :p

"A giant leap for mankind" surely. I heard they might have invented a rocket that will reduce the travel time to a measily 39 days, which is a very doable voyage with modern technology.

It's pronounced a bit like "Olive" just with an "r" at the end. Anyway, most people with the name "Oliver" are just called "Olli" anyways.
Yeah, I think the football commentators just mispronounced it often. Maybe because they thought Olivier sounds more German. They were also pretty inconsistent about Suarez (who now plays at Liverpool). The pronounciation went from SuArez to SUarez and back again and I still don't know what the right one is after watching him for two or three years.

Football commentators suck when it comes to the right pronouncation of names. There's a brazilian guy playing in the Bundesliga with the name "Grafite" (yes, as in "graphite") and he constantly was called "grafitsssshhhhhh", which just sounds silly.
Also I think, Suarez should be pronounced "SUaresh".

Oh. I don't watch Futurama too often so you where lucky with this one. Also, I'm not too good with english quotes as I watch most movies/series in german.

It sounds liek the goons climbing a really tall wall, when 1 puts 2 on his shoulders, 3 climbs on top of them, then 4 does the same. Now 1 climbs up the other three and stands on 4's shoulders and so forth, so they all end up over the wall.

Damn straight! It doesn't matter what the fanbase is for, those lunatics are always bad. However, some are far beyond pathetic.

Indeed it does. I was talking to gfox about it yesterday, in fact. The limited synopsis he gave me led me to the episode Brannigan, Begin Again on only my second guess. He said it was one of the episodes with Brannigan and Kiff, so I suggested "War is the H-Word first"

I'll say this within simple words. Devin Townsend is magnificent on stage. This may be the only time where I'll see a live show with balloons falling everywhere and a giant cheeseburger prop coming on stage. Yes, it is full of win.

Now that I've got my weekend out of the way, I'd like to introduce you guys to my new site. This will be where I do full length reviews of album releases and live shows. I'll also do rants that are related to music and cover some top pick personal lists. I'm looking forward to adding more reviews to the site. For now, you've got the live show of Manowar revised for the site as well as my review for Rhapsody's Symphony of Enchanted Lands. I also have Twitter and Facebook pages set up for it but not many of you are into those gadgets.

Monday Metal Treasures are still going to plan accordingly. Oh, and I got Skyrim but it's on PS3.

I have to say that the film is quite slow and a bit surreal which doesn't make it an easy watch.

I've watched some slow films before. That reminds me, I still have LOTR extended edition on blu-ray to watch. FUUUUUUUUCK!

Finding themselves to get one man on Mars is a huge step up.
"A giant leap for mankind" surely. I heard they might have invented a rocket that will reduce the travel time to a measily 39 days, which is a very doable voyage with modern technology.

Over a month is still a hell of a long time but at least they're getting there.

Lol, that's strange.

Or maybe it's some extension that's not agreeing with the browser. Either way, I'm staying away from Firefox for a while.

Heh, I found one problem. Sucks how I can't use Firefox now since I was using that for secondary accounts on Facebook and Newgrounds.
Firefox sucks! :O

I actually agree with this and to think I was considering going back to it if Chrome wouldn't improve. I can't complain too much right now about it.

Read my response to Odyssic and you'll understand.
No room is no excuse! :P

Then why not give me £1,000 to redo my room? :P

You were talking to Coop about Futurama. Can I join in?
I'm afraid that's a topic I can't say anything about. I don't watch that show!

Then watching is necessary.

At 11/11/11 07:47 AM, Bahamut wrote: Manowar live show recap. Haggard, if you don't want to read it all, at least read the last four paragraphs.
I read and even commented on it.

Holy... shit!

Well, Futurama rocks!
Indeed it does. I was talking to gfox about it yesterday, in fact. The limited synopsis he gave me led me to the episode Brannigan, Begin Again on only my second guess. He said it was one of the episodes with Brannigan and Kiff, so I suggested "War is the H-Word first"

gfox was happier with the conversation he had with me last night.

I always thought it was something like graffiti. Grafitsssh has to be plain wrong and just sounds stupid indeed.

Also I think, Suarez should be pronounced "SUaresh".

I don't know. The stress on the A actually sounded best to me.

If they don't change it to level 741. As for Level 51 for the Master Sword, it's too golden for it. I'm sure it was blueish on the guard. And of course Level 55 wouldn't work since that looks too much like Bahamut's dick.

Yeah the colour is off, but the shape is rather similar.

I think it's more exciting than 2001 still, but 2001 is still an interesting watch. Definitely not my favourite Kubrick though.

Yeah, but I'm sure a well trained astronaut can at least last for that long. Also, they won't have to take THAT much food with them.

"Thanks for voting, Gagsy! Your experience points have already been deposited for today - thanks for doing the overtime!

Your experience gave you a voting power of 8.36 votes. Your blam and protection points gave you an additional 60% of your experience power, meaning that your total vote power was worth 13.37 votes!"

I honestly only just noticed this voting power of mine. I'm not into the whole 1337 thing, never was but I still did smile at that. It'll be upped in a few days though.

12,000 Experience

I need a witty robot related catchphrase.

Bite my shiny metal... no, that's taken

Compliant... no, that's an alien, but it might be a robot.

C0GMA is alive... what, it doesn't even rhyme

Hasta la vista... I'm not sure what he was.

Does not compute.

It's been about six months since I've last seen Aladdin. The Disney channel tends to reair that more often than Sword and the Stone. If fact I don't ever recall it ever being on TV.

It's one of the more recent and therefore one of the more commercial films. They never made a spin off from Sword in the Stone.
