Now you got that a 1337 joke.
It is kinda swell for that kind of audio review responses.
Dedication, all I got to say. That and I enjoy getting requests in the inbox from time to time. All sorts of gems in the audio portal that have yet to be reviewed.

Are you kidding dude. How many PM's have I sent you. And yet still I'm waiting after a number of requests. What's up with that?

Now I'm sure I won't be telling her. I like to be a nice friend.

Had a bit of a scare this morning. I misunderstood what my mum said and I thought the computer shop near where I live was known for scamming and selling whatever they get from customers. Thankfully that wasn't the case and she was only talking about a place somewhere else. The shop claims they'll have the laptop ready this afternoon and whether they will make it on time or not, I'll be going down there either way.

Listening to:

You missed a treat. But if it helps, they announced that they'll be doing another concert on 17th November 2012 at the Royal Albert Hall. Should be good as they'll be celebrating Final Fantasy's 25th anniversary. Tickets are likely to be going on sale in December.

I'll have to consider going then. Hopefully no big metal band clashes with that date. This show is something my future brother-in-law can easily attend. He's not so keen on metal and the only shows he's seen are Opeth (at the Royal Albert Hall) and Turisas.

Oh yeah, the brutal combo doesn't seem to work well. If I have to use hand-to-hand, it's relentless square tapping. :P

I'm currently playing Uncharted 3 and absolutely loving it. Hope you're able to get hold of #2 at some point.

I really hope so myself. I'd like to see where the series goes next. If I can't pick it up soon enough, I have COD4, Bioshock 2 and FFXIII to go through. Hey, looks like I might actually need more PS3 games for once, haha. I think those three should keep me good by Christmas but if not, I'll nostalgia some more with the PS1.

Muted, as in what you can do to a trumpet, to change the sound, or reduce it, subtly. Not grabbing the remote and pressing "mute", which stops the sound completely.

It would still be a nice number. But most likely I won't stop as 36063 may be nice but has no real significance for me.
Maybe I will stop at 37,777? XD

Yeah, it's a really good price.
And there goes another game on my "I have to buy that sometimes" list. Problem with this list: It tends to get longer and longer.
So does my list. However, music is far, far worse.

True.

Wait, you're actually avoiding this?
Well, if there was a way to listen to the songs without the Lou Reed parts I might give it a try.
Try this. For the real Lou Reed parts, give this a shot. :P

Can you send this link to me over MSN? I'm at my laptop right now (waiting for some kind of seminar to start... and it's already 5:43 PM!) and by the time I check NG while sitting at my PC I will have forgotten about the link.

No, I can blame PAL for it. Had it not been for these shitty formats, we wouldn't have to worry about Sonic and Mega Man music playing slower than they should.
Yet another thing we don't agree with each other. :(
On the other hand, we may finally get somewhere with Manowar... This is the end of Wi/Ht? as we know it.

Awesome. However, if I'd have quoted Python at you - "One of t'cross-beams has gone out of skew on the triddle." You'd have known exactly what I was talking about.
I actually had to look up that quote, but I remember that episode, although not too clearly. But it's the first time I see the whole Flying Circus, so it's no surprise I don't know every episode by heart.
It's the first episode you ever saw? You need to remember it off by heart, like I do:

No no, I've seen some episodes before that, but never the whole show (as in "all episodes). And the "something's wrong at the mill" I have only seen once so far.

"Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at ya!"

That rings a bell.
My favorite ending was where there where policemen grabbing the one talking by the shoulder, and then another policeman grabbed the shoulder of the previous one and so on...

Manilla Road to the World - Part 11: Teacher (Mark of the Beast)

I have my laptop back now. However, the dust and lint covering the fan was not the issue. I'm still experiencing the laptop to crash whenever it feels like and from what I've heard, it may be a fault with the motherboard. If this isn't something the computer shop nearby can do, I may have to get a brand new laptop which would suck since if I had another year of warranty for the laptop, I could easily take it the shop I got it from and I wouldn't have to spend a couple of hundreds of quid just for a new laptop. I do have more than enough money for another laptop, it's a matter of commitment to spend that much just three years after getting this one.

Yeah, it may be an error with the mainboard, but it could be some other weird things as well. Those kind of errors are very hard to locate.

If this isn't something the computer shop nearby can do, I may have to get a brand new laptop which would suck since if I had another year of warranty for the laptop, I could easily take it the shop I got it from and I wouldn't have to spend a couple of hundreds of quid just for a new laptop. It sure does suck, especially if the laptop still is in good condition otherwise. But locating and fixing the error could cost more than to buy a new one. :/
Also, I'd rather go for a desktop PC :P

Yeah, I think the football commentators just mispronounced it often. Maybe because they thought Olivier sounds more German. They were also pretty inconsistent about Suarez (who now plays at Liverpool). The pronounciation went from SuArez to SUarez and back again and I still don't know what the right one is after watching him for two or three years.

Oh. I don't watch Futurama too often so you where lucky with this one. Also, I'm not too good with english quotes as I watch most movies/series in german.

Sometimes I feel that I should watch things like Futurama in German, it would be funny to hear the different voices, that the dubbing people use.

My favorite ending was where there where policemen grabbing the one talking by the shoulder, and then another policeman grabbed the shoulder of the previous one and so on...
It sounds liek the goons climbing a really tall wall, when 1 puts 2 on his shoulders, 3 climbs on top of them, then 4 does the same. Now 1 climbs up the other three and stands on 4's shoulders and so forth, so they all end up over the wall.
Hm, I don't remember that one. But I still have some episodes to watch!

That's the Goon Show, not Monty Python.

I thought that the Baggios were in that number as well, but I was mistaken. Roberto and Eddy are brothers, but not sons of a footballing father. Perhaps Roberto can start a dynasty with his two sons, Mattia and Riccardo?
Ah, also Italian football players, right? Next to them there are also the Inzaghi's...

Seems like Italian people often have these things running in the family.

What, so we could end up with another Berlusconi running Italy? Mama mia!

I've found one fault to the laptop. It seems to not like Firefox at all. Tried using that only and found the laptop to lock up three times within half an hour. Stopped using it last night and I've been fine since. I won't say I'm 100% good for now but I'm happy to find a solution to keep it more stable for the time being.

Go all out and get a desktop :P

I want to have a desktop but it's hard to time good space for it when my bedroom is too fucking small for it. Not only that, I could use it in my sister's bedroom but it'll be awkward when she's up here. The only other place is out in the conservatory but that room doesn't give you any privacy so I'm stuck with using a laptop.

Yeah, it may be an error with the mainboard, but it could be some other weird things as well. Those kind of errors are very hard to locate.

Heh, I found one problem. Sucks how I can't use Firefox now since I was using that for secondary accounts on Facebook and Newgrounds.

It sure does suck, especially if the laptop still is in good condition otherwise. But locating and fixing the error could cost more than to buy a new one. :/

Yeah, if it turns out your money would be better off getting a new laptop, I'd have to do that.

Also, I'd rather go for a desktop PC :P

Read my response to Odyssic and you'll understand.

Now we have this which neither of us can debate about?
We need to find other things to argue about!

You were talking to Coop about Futurama. Can I join in?

This Friday, you will hear the recap.
Is this just a coincidence that I at first read "crap" instead of "recap"?

I wouldn't blame you.

Damn straight! It doesn't matter what the fanbase is for, those lunatics are always bad. However, some are far beyond pathetic.
Sometimes they can be funny (as in so stupid all you can do is laugh), but most of the time they are annoying. Especially if two fanboys argue about their fanboyism.

I need some examples.

I can see that happening, but then again, we wouldn't be the first to overestimate the technological development of the next ten years.

Overestimating technology has happened before and I suppose it will happen again. Not related to video games but I want to see spaceships and such. Not the NASA kind rockets, spaceships that you see in sci-fi. :P Something like that probably won't happen until well after I'm gone. Ah well.

It's amazing how effective random button-mashing can be...

This is not how it should be.

I keep meaning to go back to FFXIII - I enjoyed it whilst playing it and then got distracted by all the sidequests so never completed it. I think that's next on my list to play. Unless they release Diablo III any time soon...

I will need to get back to FFXIII. Oh yeah, also add Resident Evil 5 to the list. I forgot I still had that disc.

Good to see a mod with level 42 again. We have a while until NEVR's there but it'll happen before my next level up.

You were expecting otherwise?

Why should I?

Good thing that's not necessary. They told me if it continues to misbehave, I can go straight back and they can have a further look. However, I will feel like an ass if I say it might be to do with the motherboard and not dust on the fan all along.
Oh, that's always good. So long as you don't look like too much of an idiot ;)

Now I'm glaring at Firefox.

I worry about this, I'm going to have to make the room for it or use it downstairs.

Oh yeah, another option is to have my bedroom entirely redone but that'll cost a lot of money. Imagine how much I'd need to pay for that and a kickass desktop.
