Hmm. There's one good station on the cable here that's dedicated to classic rock music. That's about the only one I like to listen to from time to time.
Yeah, you have to listen to Absolute Classic Rock for that, but it's just not got enough Metal on it.
It's Arrow Classic Rock here.
I think they have a Hard Rock / Metal program somewhere in the week, but throughout the rest of the week it's mostly Classic Rock and some Modern Rock too. Although you do hear songs like The Clansman and Run To The Hills come by every now and again which I can appreciate.
I'm just glad there's at least one channel that still plays 60's and 70's songs. Other channels just seem to ignore this music era entirely and often don't go any further back than the early 90's (Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the like).
When I'm in the car it's mostly crap. There's one okay 80's and 90's station I can tune into, but hearing Phil Collins and Lenny Kravitz pass by every frickin time I listen to it does get tiresome.
The joy of my iPod and iTrip adaptor :P
My moms car is from the 80's. Not sure if it even has a cassette player, so I'm pretty much forced to listen to the radio. My dads car has an MP3 player station somewhere, but I don't think I can connect my iPod. I should ask him if he can burn a CD for me someday with my music.
Isn't that stuff like Linkin Park? I do hear them come by relatively often, but I don't know to what degree you can call that 'metal' =/
It's mostly hard rock - System of a Down isn't too bad, but I prefer some of the classic stuff - you know, the bands that sell billions of records and still don't get airtime.
Linkin Park hard rock? With hard rock I'm more thinking about AC/DC and bands like that.
But yeah, it seems like radio stations are seriously underestimating the size of the fanbase of some metal bands.
It could take a while. I'm a really slow reader :p
It's a damned comic! How long can it take to read?!
Yeah, but right now I'm reading a normal book and that's taking me quite long. I'm now a little over halfway after two weeks or so. Book has 272 pages :p
When I start reading a book I tend to read only 10 pages or so before I put it away again. Therefore any ordinary book often takes me weeks to finish.
I'm making my way through a 666 page novel at the moment and I'm going through a few chapters every morning, so I make light work of it. It's easier to read than Shogun.
I don't know how many pages a chapter is in your book. I've read books which had chapters of 2-3 pages, but I assume it's more in yours.
And in the morning you say? Like before you go to work? You must wake up pretty early then.

I don't know what character a sword would be good on anyway. Maybe a rapier for the Spy would be alright, but that's still a bit odd.
Demoman is most suited for swords.
He's the pirate-y guy right? I guess he could do with a saber or something.
Seeing Odyssics post, it IS free for all.
Now let's just hope we don't get thousands of lame dickwads in there ruining the game for everyone.
Yeah, there is that concern but there is something they've introduced called premium accounts. Hopefully we can get servers exclusive to those accounts.
That's only fair to those who payed for the game.
I wouldn't be particulary interested in upgrading, but if the free play sucks then I can always just leave. I won't lose anything.
