Short list today, I guess. Three B/P milestones and one repeated post count. Oh well, at least I'm remembering. Had great fun streaming the SC2 tournament last night. Not sure if I'll cast today, we'll see. I'll see.

Yeah I listened to it and it's a pretty funny song. These guys sound quite familiar to me. I know they also made a track for Fifa 2005, but are they famous for anything else? Not that I know of. They played a gig in front of my cousin and some friends in Nottingham and there were about 25 people. The band learned their names by the end of the night.
Heh, that's pretty awesome. Always nice if a band is cool like that and don't think too highly of themselves.

Baseball is based on failure. Cricket is as well, but if you do well, you do well for hours. This winter, Alistair Cook scored almost 1,000 runs against Australia in the Ashes series - the premier cricketing event. 1,000 runs could take a baseball player 10 years to accumulate.
So you are saying the scoring in Cricket is inflated just like American Basketball where they encourage rampant scoring and little defense?

Not really - you go out there for the 10 wickets or outs that you have and bat for an allotted time (usually 40 or 50 overs of 6 balls each) and score as many runs as you can, before you're all out, or the overs are used. Then you sawp sides and the batting team tries to chase down the total set by the first team.
Last weekend, the opposition managed 311 runs, which is massive - we beat them, with 6 balls to spare.

I hate to say it but this is part of the problem. If we all vote 5 just because the submission used a song we liked, they'll all pass. Just vote 0 on the damn thing, even if they throw in Final Fantasy music. You can hear the great works of Nobuo Uematsu some other time.

Perhaps some measures Steam took so that people won't go download dozens of games at the same time and heavily drag down the download rate for other players?

Well people seem to be crazy about hats and such, but I honestly don't see the big deal about them.
And hmm, I don't know if you can get everything via random drop or crafting. I'm still waiting until I finally get some good stuff for the Spy. I only got the Kunai Dagger which is utter shit and that pistol which gives crits for headshots but -20% damage or so (not so useful either).
I'd like me that watch which has 100% cloak regen rate and that knife which instantly gives you the disguise of the one you backstab. Probably the most overpowered items in the game XD
