His genres are quite wide ranging and his music has evolved a lot over the years. I like quite a lot of his music, but that's just me :P

Recently I was talking about Alice Cooper with a friend of mine and we kinda came to that conclusion. I personally know Poison, Halo of Flies and Schools Out which are three songs I like. But for the rest I know nothing about the guy, apart from the fact that he often appears at rock / metal festivals and everybody loves him for some reason.

It just seems weird that you don't hear much of him, he doesn't have that many famous songs, yet he has loads of fans.

On an unrelated sidenote: Watchmen finally arrived today. I looked through the book to find the "comic within the comic" thing you're talking about, but it was hard to find. Eventually I saw a page where a guy was reading a comic from a newspaper, but it was only one page long. However, several pages further was the Tales of the Black Freighter story (or parts of it) and it might be linked to that comic from the newspaper (or maybe it is what was in that newspaper).

I don't know, I guess I better go read the book to find out what it's all about.

Yeah, that's where I need to be in my life. I really shouldn't have myself living here for too long.

Yeah. The 'house rules' my parents made up just started to annoy me more and more. I wanted to eat when I felt like it, I wanted to eat what I felt like eating, little things like that.

But oh well, once you get a steady job, moving out shouldn't be too hard.

Oh so it's the updates that kinda turned you off? Well the hats are more of an accesory right? I wouldn't care too much about those. Giving weird weapons to characters is another thing though.
It just shows Valve mostly care about the gimmicks in the game. There are still many glitches for them to fix and all they give a damn about are fucking hats.... Well, at least Meet the Medic is coming.

Well beside glitch fixing and endlessly creating new maps for the game, I don't see what else they could do.

By the way, I heard rumours that TF2 might become free in the feature. If that happens, I might check it out. Don't know if my laptop can handle it, but we'll see.

That's new for me as well. Never heard anyone saying he got over his hangover by eating something spicy.

In any case, having some decent food will work I suppose. Perhaps something fat and spicy works best, like a burrito or something. And you could take some precautions by having a glass of water or two before you go to sleep after a night of drinking.

For me it's whatever pocket change I can scrounge up after the night before that determines what I can eat the next morning/day. Usually its something very very cheap like Taco Bell, heh.

It is? Well, you don't hear it often on the radio or anything, but in Hollands yearly top 2000 best songs of all time it makes the top 100 every year. In 2001 it even reached the 19th place. It's the highest ranked Alice Cooper song followed by 'How you gonna see me now' (somewhere between 100-300 usually).

Maybe it got more popular here than it did in the UK. The other song you mentioned I have actually never heard of before and I don't think it ever made a hitlist here.

Yeah, you won't understand it otherwise. Trust me on this.

At first glance it does look like a fairly complicated book with lots of little sideplots. Having seen the film might help a lot.

10,000 icons!

Some of you got it right initially but I was hoping I'd divert you guys from it. Still, this is a milestone I'm very happy with, even if icon contributions isn't an area that's covered for congrats lists before. Still, I'm proud of this and I only hope to get at least another 10,000 done. There's at least 100,000 submissions still needing icons so there's still plenty to update for the upcoming redesign!

I'm a writer, I need one.
So a fantasy writer then?

What's the point in me kidding myself - I've never needed more.

He's an inspiration for many acts these days - I was surprised to hear you mention Halo of Flies, because that's one of the more obscure hits of his. Feed my Frankenstein is more mainstream, because it's on Waynes World.

In the UK, it's generally Poison, School's Out, Elected and Feed My Frankenstein. I wish we'd hear more, much like with Maiden and their songs, which get no support >:(

I don't know, I guess I better go read the book to find out what it's all about.
Yeah, you won't understand it otherwise. Trust me on this.
At first glance it does look like a fairly complicated book with lots of little sideplots. Having seen the film might help a lot.

Well, with the way that the comic hardly gets a look in, you do need to pay attention to see how it works.

Would it have killed you to make 5 more icons? Also, has your tank arrived yet?
I was getting tired by then. As for the tank, Tom said he'll let me know when he ships it out. I'm tempted to make a combined shipping and buy some stuff along with it.

Sweet - I demand video!

All I know is that Rush in Rio has a huge dragon on the artwork.
Yeah, it does. I'm sure it's more significant than that, though.
It's a good live album?

Hell yeah - I've loved the four songs I've witnessed so far and unless I'm heading down the pub tonight (unlikely), I'll be sitting in front of the rest tonight! A 30 song setlist is incredible
