Do they play Nights with Alice Cooper on there? That's a great show!
My moms car is from the 80's. Not sure if it even has a cassette player, so I'm pretty much forced to listen to the radio. My dads car has an MP3 player station somewhere, but I don't think I can connect my iPod. I should ask him if he can burn a CD for me someday with my music. When I'm in the car it's mostly crap. There's one okay 80's and 90's station I can tune into, but hearing Phil Collins and Lenny Kravitz pass by every frickin time I listen to it does get tiresome. The joy of my iPod and iTrip adaptor :P
Yeah - mine turns the iPod into a radio station.
Seriously, who makes a car in 2007 with a cassette deck as standard?! I however have a car made in 2007 with a cassette player as standard.
Linkin Park hard rock? With hard rock I'm more thinking about AC/DC and bands like that.Isn't that stuff like Linkin Park? I do hear them come by relatively often, but I don't know to what degree you can call that 'metal' =/It's mostly hard rock - System of a Down isn't too bad, but I prefer some of the classic stuff - you know, the bands that sell billions of records and still don't get airtime.
But yeah, it seems like radio stations are seriously underestimating the size of the fanbase of some metal bands.
It's always been the case and I'm not sure it will change until the demise of the trailblazing bands. Most of them have high average ages now and they report the death of various Metal stars, but such is life.
Yeah, but right now I'm reading a normal book and that's taking me quite long. I'm now a little over halfway after two weeks or so. Book has 272 pages :pIt could take a while. I'm a really slow reader :pIt's a damned comic! How long can it take to read?!
Ah, so how much I've managed in a week - slow week :P
I don't know how many pages a chapter is in your book. I've read books which had chapters of 2-3 pages, but I assume it's more in yours. When I start reading a book I tend to read only 10 pages or so before I put it away again. Therefore any ordinary book often takes me weeks to finish.I'm making my way through a 666 page novel at the moment and I'm going through a few chapters every morning, so I make light work of it. It's easier to read than Shogun.
10-15 pages per chapter. Short, but very well constructed chapters.
And in the morning you say? Like before you go to work? You must wake up pretty early then.
Well, I've not picked it up yet today, but I usually check the portal, the sport and then lie in bed for half an hour before getting up. I leave the house at around 8.25 and I'm in the office for 8.45

Because they saved money on stirring the beer before they bottle it? :pI didn't drink it, but my friends thought it tasted alright.I guess it's more of a "surprise beer". Every can tastes different. ^^
My theory is, that they buy out the beer from any other brewery that they didn't use (because it didn't meet quality standards) and fill that into their cans.
Much cheaper than most beers. Seriously, did the beer price go up in the past... two years or so? I remember you could get a crate for <10 euros for most beers, but when I walk around the supermarket now I see most are around 13 euros.Might be 4 euros by now due to inflation and shit though. But the best part is, you still get "Einwegpfand" for the crate :pYeah, the Ratskrone crate is 5 Euros, and this price INCLUDES the deposit. XD
I don't know. My favorite beer still costs around 8,99 Euros per crate.

Nope I don't think so.
What I actually like very much about the channel is that it's no talk and only music with a newsbreak every 30 minutes. No boring, longwinded conversations between DJs, no commercial break every 15 minutes, no other interruptions. After 23:00 it's especially great because they'll just play on and on with no newsbreaks anymore either.

Yeah aren't the members of Iron Maiden, Metallica etc. all well past their 60's at this point? It won't be too long before they all kick the bucket, end up in a wheelchair or in need a walking frame. And I haven't really noticed any newer metal bands becoming a bit more mainstream =/

Well well well.
As it's past midnight (Newgrounds time), it's now officially 6 years since I signed up.
It's funny how you sign up for something like this and never stop to wonder how long it'll last or how involved you'll become in the community.
Coop realises that he hates chasing review milestones... Damn procrastination. Congratulations to:

How about some Bratwurst for the Wi/Ht users from the UK?
I'll let you off, because you're one of the few Germans I know who has a sense of humour :P

Ah, a proper music station - one that cares about the music, rather than the DJ's ego.
Lol WTF? That's just ridiculous. Those things are so outdated and the technology was pretty crappy in general. Maybe they installed it for those few old folks who can't go without their collection of tapes? My moms car is from the 80's. Not sure if it even has a cassette player, so I'm pretty much forced to listen to the radio. My dads car has an MP3 player station somewhere, but I don't think I can connect my iPod. I should ask him if he can burn a CD for me someday with my music.Yeah - mine turns the iPod into a radio station.
Seriously, who makes a car in 2007 with a cassette deck as standard?! I however have a car made in 2007 with a cassette player as standard.
I think it was a sales rep car at one point, thus at 3 years old, it had 70,000 miles on the clock. It can't have been a high ranking one, mind.
Yeah aren't the members of Iron Maiden, Metallica etc. all well past their 60's at this point? It won't be too long before they all kick the bucket, end up in a wheelchair or in need a walking frame. And I haven't really noticed any newer metal bands becoming a bit more mainstream =/Linkin Park hard rock? With hard rock I'm more thinking about AC/DC and bands like that. It's always been the case and I'm not sure it will change until the demise of the trailblazing bands. Most of them have high average ages now and they report the death of various Metal stars, but such is life.
But yeah, it seems like radio stations are seriously underestimating the size of the fanbase of some metal bands.
So long as they don't stop - they will go out at the top, like Dio!
So I take it you wake up at like... 6:30 or something then?I don't know how many pages a chapter is in your book. I've read books which had chapters of 2-3 pages, but I assume it's more in yours.10-15 pages per chapter. Short, but very well constructed chapters.
And in the morning you say? Like before you go to work? You must wake up pretty early then.Well, I've not picked it up yet today, but I usually check the portal, the sport and then lie in bed for half an hour before getting up. I leave the house at around 8.25 and I'm in the office for 8.45
7.00 is when the alarm goes off. Sometimes I wake up earlier, sometimes it takes me a few attempts to wake up properly.
