It's all good, though as I wanted the pressure of checking the portal all the time off me. However, I might need Portal Guard to speed up my blamming for Toohot100.

I don't find it much of sore yet, but eventually I will probably want to spend my time elsewhere as well.

I am starting to come to a point when ranking up on the BP lists isn't doable anymore (10k gaps, users like Gagsy and byteslinger bumping me down every time I finally rank up etc.). And if I can't really rank up and can't level up anymore either, I don't see what I still have to (actively) BP for.

I think 300 users is enough already, but building it up to 400 or 500 is fine with me as well. I'm sure most people within those regions will love it.

I might just have a fifth post as a bonus someday. The only problem is the fifth post wouldn't be possible if I step down from BBS modding or I pass it onto someone else so I have to be careful with that.

Well you could use an alt to get around the limit? I know that's technically against the rules, but I'm sure the mods then will understand. Also, as an ex-mod you could probably get away with little things like that ;)

Yeah that is true. There isn't really an animal this is willing able to charge in to a storm of swords and phalanxes no matter how big they are.

I don't know, I think pepper spray has a longer lasting effect. But tasers do have some potential to kill you if you're unlucky, so perhaps pepper spray is better.

Well the bad thing about pepper spray is that it can be affected by the wind and be blown away from the target or back at you.

A few months ago we had a problem with bad eggs coming in from Germany.

I know there can't be much farmland in the Netherlands but I would think that you would be able to raise your own chickens and eggs instead of importing them.

There is plenty of farmland actually. Holland might not be that big, but the major cities aren't that big either so most of the space is utulized for farming.

I'm sure there are plenty of eggs produced in the Netherlands, but perhaps we're just importing and exporting them for the sake of trading and keeping each others economies going.

Probably. There are some companies like Eurolines who have busses going from major city to major city. They'll drop you off in the early morning and can pick you up that evening (or the next morning, or a week later etc.). I think that's the kinda bus you have to go with.

Strangely enough the trip back only took about 24 hours.

Oh yes I've heard of the standing places. Sounds pretty ridiculous but I guess it might work for very short trips. They shouldn't let people stand for any longer than an hour though.

I guess turbulance could become a pretty big problem for those who have to stand and can't fasten their seatbelts. I don't know, I guess solutions for that can be found as well, but I think I'd rather pay for a seat. Even if they are more expensive.

Horses have a natural tendency to run in packs. So as long as you have several horses running together you can have them charge into anything. Now a better question is why horses often run into burning barns.

There's no way I can overcome that within a reasonable time if they continue BPing. So 100k sounds like a good moment to call it quits to me.

I am starting to come to a point when ranking up on the BP lists isn't doable anymore (10k gaps, users like Gagsy and byteslinger bumping me down every time I finally rank up etc.). And if I can't really rank up and can't level up anymore either, I don't see what I still have to (actively) BP for.

Yeah, you're at a very tough position right now. At least after those two the most you'll have to worry about is Pokemonpoeguygcn. After that we'll see who else is climbing up the ranks.

He's 20k behind me and gains about 100 a week on me. That means about 200 weeks for him to go until he comes flying by. By that time I'll probably be retired from BPing, even if I'd decide to go on for a little longer after 100k.

Well you could use an alt to get around the limit? I know that's technically against the rules, but I'm sure the mods then will understand. Also, as an ex-mod you could probably get away with little things like that ;)

Unlike the USA, most European countries aren't really able to maintain themselves with their own resources so hence why a lot of importing and exporting is going on.

OK that makes sense. I guess when there are tons of small countries you have to be really open to trade in your country. I guess I should be too surprised since the orange I ate this morning came from some other country rather than Florida or California.

I was just very disappointed at how it was described in the book. It was something like: Everybody was fighting the war of five races, all hell broke loose AND IN THE MEANTIME Smaug flew over Laketown and Bard gets a lucky shot, kills him and afterwards he is crowned king. I can not remember Bard doing anything else in the plot.

It was the only thing in the book that irked me. I hope the film will improve that story element.

No most people live in the towns. There are only four real major cities. Utrecht is the last one with 300,000 inhabitants. Makes about 2.2 million in total people living in the 'big cities'. The rest live in minor cities or towns.

The only position I am good at is as a goalie. Also, if people think they have to shoot the ball extra hard, they should be the ones to get the ball back if it goes flying off the field. That'll teach them! ^^

IIRC they played on Friday afternoon. Since me and my friend had to work on Friday we only could start driving to the festival at around 2 pm. After a one hour drive we just arrived when they entered the stage. And since we had to unpack things, get our festival bracelets and so on, we simply missed the show. :(
