Today is a very special day because:
1) My country turned 200 years old of being independent from Spain. There are parades and parties everywhere in most cities and communities of my country :)
2) I finally got rid of the shitblade. I loved my new set of nunchucks.
We're having the biggest "fiesta" ever. I'm doing my congrat list right now, to continue watching the parade at the capital on TV with my whole family. Congrats to:

Trust me, living 18 years in a seismic zone, they seem to be part of your daily life.
Seriously, I never really cared for earthquakes. They don't happen where I live now but then I lived in Japan it was pretty scary at times.
Shit, man. I remember watching on TV years ago, news of strong earthquakes happening in Japan almost everytime. You should be thankful you don't have them in your zone. But to be very honest, I'd chose having earthquakes rather than tornadoes.

Same here. I always used the same elements over and over in Middle and High school. Memorizing the complete periodic table of elements was a torture. I wish I had Latin class on that time instead on the senior year of High School.
Yep, they're becoming important players on the international market. Companies will probably do more and more business with them in the future.
Then learning them wouldn't be a bad choice. China is turning into a developed country while Japan is more advanced in technology for 10 years than the rest of the world.

Madness Day, currently untitled

Now, if I can whittle the pace down to 28th of April 2012, I'll have done 100k B/P in 8 years, which is a good pace for a career, I feel. The pace is at 34.119 B/P per day, so I should be able to eclipse that.
However, NGLogs pace check tells me I averaged 24 B/P a day in 2010 (seems to be a bit high imo, but here we go), with that pace I would reach 77,777 B/P on 06/Jun/14.

I don't think that the Levels will be affected by the next redesign - we've got 60 of them and it seems that we've got a good balance at present, without changing the dynamic again.
Besides, isn't this redesign / overhaul gradually rolling out new features, starting with the Art Portal, new forums and the new layout for icons etc?

Even with AJ and Pettitte not up to snuff, they are still pretty good; better than most. A little rest, practice will go a long ways or else they will have a long break after being swept out of the playoffs. I'm going to have to agree with you on Vasquez and Nova. It's going to be interesting how they are going to perform. I'm thinking if it gets desperate one of the other starter will have to go on three days.

Most of the houses here are made of wood. There isn't much you can do when one pops up except get underground. It's not like tornadoes come from nowhere. There's plenty of warnings ahead of time.
4.5 earthquakes are usually long but very weak, and they always end dizzying me a lot. They feel like if you were on a ship in the middle of the sea :P
I lived on the 7th floor of an apartment building and when one struck everything that was hanging would sway. It was really quite fun.

If they're lower I just pretend they're not happening at all, but as I explained to reverend, quakes lower than 5 degrees make me feel dizzy.
I dunno, I'd still find a quake of any kind really intimidating.
TheEarthquakeMaster.TEQ ftw.
I smell a new alt :P
I already started my job as an earthquake mod. This is what earthquake mods see in our private forum. It's a screenshot of the most recent quakes in California, Baja California, Arizona and Nevada.
Won't you get in trouble with the earthquake admins for leaking secret mod info?
The spotlighted circle is my city. I'm showing you this to prove that I'm not exaggerating about we having plenty of quakes here.
Wow.

Though do you not think they might increase it to maybe 100 levels such that Pimp/bomb won't be at the top level anymore?I really think they should keep it to 60 levels. I mean, making more levels will only be easy for the highest ranked users and worse for the newer users. The old level system was unfair on the newer users.
Fair point I suppose, I just think that they might want to keep the top rank "special". If pimp and bomb are at the top level post-redesign then by the time I'm around your level loads of people will have reached 60.

It's used during football matches in Germany?Yeah, if fans are unhappy with the way the ref is doing his job (ie, in every game ^^), they sometimes shout it (since a few years they rather shout "Hoyzer", though ;) ).
What does that mean?
I don't think you should take it too seriously when someone says it here.Just like the threat "I know where you live" the threat "I know where you parked your car" isn't taken seriously here neither.
However, the insult "Hoyzer" is a serious accusation for a Referee, I guess.
I don't know what's popular to shout towards a referee here at the moment, but we tend to get personal when insulting football players and refs.

Or well, it's not really that hard because not that many elements were used often in our Chemistry lessons. I think only about 20 were very common.Same here. I always used the same elements over and over in Middle and High school. Memorizing the complete periodic table of elements was a torture. I wish I had Latin class on that time instead on the senior year of High School.
School system is a little different here, but we can start with Latin when we're about 13 and get taught Chemistry a year later. So I guess we got a better order, although in that first year of Latin I haven't learned much and then I gave up. A few common words is all I can remember from my Latin classes.
Yep, they're becoming important players on the international market. Companies will probably do more and more business with them in the future. Then learning them wouldn't be a bad choice. China is turning into a developed country while Japan is more advanced in technology for 10 years than the rest of the world.
Yeah Japan is quite far ahead of us when it comes to technology and China is turning into the most powerful country in the world if they keep going like this.

It seems to be. Another complaint is "Emo Samus" which I can't argue with.At 9/14/10 04:17 AM, Bahamut wrote:That's the major complaint I keep hearing about the game.
Yeah, from what I've heard it sounded like a legitimate complaint. I couldn't imagine Samus the way they described she was in Other M. Then again, I can't imagine her to be a strong, cold hearted, bad-ass bounty hunter either like some people said she should be.
I'd expect her to be more like an intelligent, brave and lonesome woman. I'm wondering why the creators of Other M thought that 'emo Samus' was a better idea than going with such a personality.
I've gained more BP's per year in the past, but you never know what happens.Unless you make a retirement plan before 77,777, you should easily pass me by then.
I'm still thinking about whether I should retire sometime and at which point. I probably won't stop before 100,000 though, so I will overtake you someday.
Yep. Might as well go during the Sziget festival next summer, so you can do some heavy metaling while you're there ;)Either this or some convention in America. Hmm.
What convention? It has to be pretty awesome if it wants to beat Sziget.
Heh, yeah but I don't think people really laughed that hard at it back then. I can imagine this kind of stuff getting played in the discotheques in the 80s :pMaybe they don't see it that way but I certainly see the humour value in Oh Yeah.
Indeed, it's a tune that can be used for many hilarious purposes.
Well if he gets a fine I guess that'll teach him to keep it down next time. That also works but you never know. I know he's been in trouble with the police before.
Oh really? Well maybe sending the police at him isn't really gonna help then.
I don't know what the police is like in the UK, but if you call the police for such cases here, it's just gonna be a waste of time. They're not gonna do shit.

You're not even talking about the goddamn music.Never fucking ever! Also, what are you on about with them having no taste?Well, have you seen pictures of them? I'm sure you have. Not even a dragon can say it's "good taste" how they dress.
Yeah, because one can't hardly call it music, but we've been through that already.
There, we agreed that the shitblade has no taste whatsoever. The "Awesome"blade has no taste.Quite so. Because it's an object. Objects don't have any taste.
No level icon has any taste.

But smashing isn't as impressive as burning.

That's why I gave you a link. :P
Robert Hoyzer was involved in a bet scandal in german football. He confessed that he deliberately made some wrong calls in some matches (most noticable the cup match between Paderborn and HSV, where he gave two penalties to Paderborn).
So calling out "Hoyzer" to a ref is just saying: You have been bought and you cheat on us.
I don't know what's popular to shout towards a referee here at the moment, but we tend to get personal when insulting football players and refs.I don't think you should take it too seriously when someone says it here.Just like the threat "I know where you live" the threat "I know where you parked your car" isn't taken seriously here neither.

I don't know if it still happens (it propably does) but at the beginning of a match the stadium announcer calls out every players name. And it used to be the case for the opposing team (ie the away team) the home fans would always shout "Arschloch!" (=asshole).
It went like that: "With the number 8 <first name>" and the fans will shout out the last name.
For the away team it's always:
Announcer: "With the number 8 <first name>"
Fans: ASSHOLE! >_>

Sadly all of mine are school related things.
"Inanimate object"... I love the term and the mystery, though seeing this will probably make it one of the few things that I wish I could unsee. I must go and get that medal.
We planned on doing a movie where Nick was in love with my shorts... It was going to be a continuing joke where I would get in trouble and all he would do is save my shorts instead of me.
