And people in school always told me that medicine often has Latin names, but when I look at the names now I think they're much more understandable if you have knowledge of Chemistry.
Chemistry involves Latin a lot. It makes easier understanding the Periodic table of elements. I know that Silver's symbol is "Ag" because it comes from the Latin word argentum. Just to mention an example of what I mean. I have to agree that Chemistry is easier if you know some Latin, or vice versa.
I think it's one of the least useful languages for me to learn. Chinese or Japanese may be good languages for me to study.
I have a huge respect to those whoever decide to study, or already speak, Japanese or Chinese. But in your case, I think you might need them because of the career you're studying.

I mean, just look at him. What kind of mythical dragon powers does he have, in order to give him most of our attention? :P
I finished Metroid Other M last night. While the graphics are fantastic and the gameplay shines well (except for boss fights which most seemed to have followed a certain pattern with hurting the enemies), the plot was subpar. Sure, the storyline shouldn't be that important but it doesn't help when these scenes are unskippable and some of them even go in MGS territory for cutscene lengths. This game tries too hard to be dramatic.

You do have a point. We do keep talking about new things but I'm sure we'll still need to settle our disputes with Manowar and the shitblade.

Trust me, you don't want to see them. I've already been regarded as fearsome as Poozy and BBR.

That's good, I don't want a relationship with humans or a pigeon.
You should be thankful you're a pacifist dragon. The kids in the school you work at, would be traumatized and scared as hell if you raged everytime.
They know they better behave when I'm around.
I'll deal with him later.lol, each time you say you're gonna do something like that, I imagine you will do something like this:

I loved it, btw :)
That's a way to describe thenewbies' fate.

C'mon Bahamut, one time c'mon!
Indeed they do. I started at level 31 and now I'm level 45. I remember this level being the initial redesign level for ramagi and YoinK.That looks mighty impressive. Funny to think I first saw you at level 10 and now you're all the way to level 29.How things change in a couple of years.
Wow, that's mental. I wonder how the level system will be affected by the next redesign?
Yea, I farm Anal Penguins. Do something about it.
Congrats to:
Tetimaru000 - Level 18
Zoete - Level 13
AnalPenguinFarming - Level 34

Heh, the audio work should be a lowest of low priorities. You could always get someone else to voice act if you wish.
Well, last night was a pretty good game - we earned that win in every aspect. Three home runs, 2 outstanding defensive plays and on the bottom line, a win.
Is it too little too late??? Nope they are both going to the playoff anyways. Now the NL West on the other hand; there's a race.

You're moderating earthquakes?
Seriously, I never really cared for earthquakes. They don't happen where I live now but then I lived in Japan it was pretty scary at times.
Aahhh, the light aura. It was my 1st aura since I ever signed up here and I never changed it until level 20 or 21 and never used it after it. I'm going blue again tomorrow like in the good old days :)
For the most of my years on NG, I was neutral. It wasn't until after the redesign that I moved to Light. It just goes better with most of the icons on the site, me thinks.

Lol, sorry. It's hard to keep track of who is an icon mod and who isn't nowadays with so many icon mods around.

Yeah. As a matter of fact I know who they all are ;)
Tom hasn't talked a lot about genre mods yet, but I think once the redesign comes around more people will get recruited for the job. I think icons are considered more important at the moment.
And people in school always told me that medicine often has Latin names, but when I look at the names now I think they're much more understandable if you have knowledge of Chemistry.Chemistry involves Latin a lot. It makes easier understanding the Periodic table of elements. I know that Silver's symbol is "Ag" because it comes from the Latin word argentum. Just to mention an example of what I mean. I have to agree that Chemistry is easier if you know some Latin, or vice versa.
Lol, well I just learned them the hard way. Or well, it's not really that hard because not that many elements were used often in our Chemistry lessons. I think only about 20 were very common.
I think it's one of the least useful languages for me to learn. Chinese or Japanese may be good languages for me to study.I have a huge respect to those whoever decide to study, or already speak, Japanese or Chinese. But in your case, I think you might need them because of the career you're studying.
Yep, they're becoming important players on the international market. Companies will probably do more and more business with them in the future.
Personally I can't bother to learn those languages 'just for fun'.

That's the major complaint I keep hearing about the game.

Yep. Might as well go during the Sziget festival next summer, so you can do some heavy metaling while you're there ;)
Like I said, that song sounds completely ridiculous now. I can not imagine people like my parents thought that song was cool back then. It's not a matter of coolness, it's just fucking hilarious.
Heh, yeah but I don't think people really laughed that hard at it back then. I can imagine this kind of stuff getting played in the discotheques in the 80s :p
Heh, I'm sure he'll get away with a 50 pounds fine at most. Better take care of it yourself. And if he fucks up again, he can go straight back.
Well if he gets a fine I guess that'll teach him to keep it down next time.

Also, it's an insult you'd use at football matches if you are unhappy with the ref: "Schiri, wir wissen wo dein Auto steht."
A better threat would be: "Ich weiß wo du wohnst" (I know where you live), but that would be just silly in this context. XD
It's used during football matches in Germany? Could be that that's where it comes from, but I thought here it's mostly used as a threat whenever you're angry or fighting with someone. Although me and my friends often joke with it and I think more people do. I don't think you should take it too seriously when someone says it here.
"I know where you live" is more common and usually meant as a more serious threat. I think.
I reached Level 30 today. I'm proud of this, even though I'm only halfway done with my trip to ultimate Newgrounds membership status. Looks like I'm going to have to keep soldiering on!

The only way we could settle it would be if you would finally realize that Manowar are a bunch of talentless, ugly scalawags. :P
And for the awesomeblade... well, it's just a matter of taste, I guess (no, Manowar are NOT a matter of taste, because they don't have any). ;)

Yeah, if fans are unhappy with the way the ref is doing his job (ie, in every game ^^), they sometimes shout it (since a few years they rather shout "Hoyzer", though ;) ).
I don't think you should take it too seriously when someone says it here.
Just like the threat "I know where you live" the threat "I know where you parked your car" isn't taken seriously here neither.
However, the insult "Hoyzer" is a serious accusation for a Referee, I guess.
