It sure did!
I played a bit of it last night and so far so good. For once, I truly feel like I'm Batman. That's what I loved about it; the atmosphere is perfect, it really feels like everything you want in a Batman game lumped into one game.
Exactly and it took this long to get it right. Wow.
Looking forward to Arkham 2, and secretly hoping it will be something in a GTA-scale Gotham City, I would be so unbelievably happy.
Sounds like a challenge. Hopefully they know what they're doing with that since Spider-Man tried that once and I got bored with the game so fast. Batman could probably pull it off better, though because it's fucking Batman!

That's exactly why we should have Bender icon. However, I don't know what to do for Auz, ReNaeNae and a few other icon mods who also have other mod privileges.Good question. I would say that since they do get other shiny buttons to play with that they shouldn't have the bender icon though that might be a little strict.
So Auz and now cast would be downgraded with their level icons. :P

Indeed, Bahamut and fab is an awful mix. However, I've never had dark aura before so that could be a first. Dark won't look bad on me.
If you don't be ambitious, you won't get far in life. Why should I waste my energy to try something that has no chance of success in the first place? I'll rather concentrate on other, more important things.
How about I try it myself? Will that make you happy?
True that, it's better than nothing. However, lack of Manowar in your library is saddening.Lack of Manowar is what's so good about my musical taste.
Lack of Manowar is what's lacking in your musical taste. :P
It's OK, it actually made it funnier. Hopefully in 5 years time, our Manowar arguments will be remembered by the next generation of Wi/Ht?'ers. :PIt will be remembered as the most boring and stupid thing that has ever been discussed in the LUL. ^^
No, it will be remembered as the silliest argument on Newgrounds.
I've seen many episodes from the later seasons and I know how bad they are. These horrible episodes can't get away from criticism. The latest season (and the one before) was pretty good in my opinion. Sure, some jokes are shown for far too long, but overall the episodes are funny.
If you're talking about season 21, then I actually haven't watched any from there. I did see the whole of season 20 and to be honest, a fair amount of them were actually decent. They seemed to have switched gears when they started using the HD intro which is funny because the new intro sucks. Ah well, at least they've made some improvements.

Good point, Duke Nukem is just too badass. Funny we're talking about him now since when I was having a little trip with my parents yesterday, I was wondering what would Duke Nukem's favourite bands be if he was a real person. I'd say Megadeth just because they covered his theme.Yeah, I can see him as a thrasher. Dream Theater and probably Slayer as well.
Overkill, Exodus, Kreator and a few other key thrash artists would also fit his tastes. As for Metallica, I'd bet Duke Nukem would call them pussies.

I don't care, I just don't want to see that ever again. =P
And you should watch A Clockwork Orange, it's awesome.
Yeah, my cousin told me about it a few years ago, but I ended up forgetting about it. I barely ever rent movies, though this might change with the arrival of a PS3. :)
I only kept up with him when he was already in Manchester Utd. so I don't know much about his carer on Portugal. He must have been a really great player back then, though, since he was hired by one of the most important football clubs.Well I only know him from when he was still at Sporting Lisbon and played for the Portuguese team. I was like: "hey this guy is pretty amazing". I think back then he didn't overuse those little tricks so much, and he wasn't a complete prick yet.
Yeah, I guess he was more "practical" back then. He would have an objective, and not just mess around while playing. He's kinda like Beckham - He gets more with his image than with his football. Although Beckham is a nice guy.
Ai. That's a little much. I mean any player can play a bad game sometimes. It's just unfortunate for him that it was for such an important match.Lol :p Yeah one own goal and one red card... I bet he didn't sleep well that night.Yeah, he might have been thinking - "Man, what am I going to say when I get home?"
PS: He wasn't really well received in his arrival here. Talk about a bunch of bodyguards around him + people willing to throw things at him. :P
Have you ever heard of a Colombian (I think) player that scored an own goal in a World Cup, and was murdered when he got back home? THAT is a little too much.
But yeah, it's what I've said - It doesn't matter if we lost only 5 matches before if we lose one in the knock-out stage. You can make as many mistakes as you wish during qualifying matches, as long as you don't repeat them in the World Cup.
Me neither. I've already said it several times, they just don't deserve it in my opinion. They played a very average tournament with minimal victories and they even lost to Switzerland. The final is probably gonna be interesting. Might come down to which team is more efficient, and so far that team has been Holland.I hope so. I really don't want Spain to win this one.
They have the octopus on their side, though. =(
And everyone now claims that they deserved it. What, a team that passes the ball the entire game and scores only one goal almost every match? Come on now...
And yeah that fucking octopus >=|
Some people want to buy him. I'd say we should fry him. ^^
But it's that same old story: if they win, they're heroes. If they lose, they're villains. No one would be saying anything if we hadn't lost that match.Yeah if Dunga won he would be a genius, if Dunga lost he would be a retard. Looking at the whole picture he didn't do that badly, but it might have been a good idea to bring Ronaldinho and Pato along. If it was only to shut-up the media back home.
Yeah, it's the problem of having one powerful media channel. They dictate what goes on, if they want an exclusive interview, they'll get it. This is one of the reasons Dunga was so criticised by that media group.
In his words: "If one can have it, why can't the other one have it as well?"
Continues on the other post...
Ha yeah. My dad had the same idea once, because a PS3 is cheaper apparently. But he bought a Blu-Ray/Stereo/Hi-Fi/DVD/Tape player type thingie instead. That would be a waste. And hey, due to that TV, my dad is thinking of buying a PS3, since it's also a Blu-Ray player. Isn't that great? ^^
Ah, nice. Was it cheaper than the PS3?
I'm just sticking to DVD's though, Blu-Ray's are still too expensive in my opinion.
Yeah, a Blu-Ray DVD is about R$90,00 in here, while a regular DVD is R$30,00 - R$50,00. I guess we'll only rent a couple of Blu-Ray DVDs, and maybe buy one if we really like it. Otherwise, I think it's not worth it. I don't know, we have to try out the Blu-Ray before having any formed opinions. ^^
Remembering that we have 15 losses, but we are the only country that has been to all the world cups. :)That is still impressive.
And we're guaranteed in 2014, since we are the hosts. =P
There's a small debate going on FIFA about whether or not South America should have another spot in the World Cup, since Brazil is already there and such...
Maybe my trip to Londen can bring me much awesomeness. You might even say: "What a week!"...And hopefully the rest of the month as well. ^^
Not to sound like an annoying grammar prick, but... why Londen, and not London? =P Is it the local way you write it in the Netherlands?

And hey, not everything is perfect about beaches. I've been burnt badly by a jellyfish once, aside from various minor burns. Luckily I've not had such contact with sea creatures but I do remember in Florida having experience with dolphins.
Yeah, indeed it was. A great part of my right side was burnt, and I had to walk all the way from the beach to our house. It isn't far, but it was painful during that situation.

* Playing in the Invitation Cup quarter final against The Sportsman, we were greeted with sunny spells and the occasional very brief shower of rain. Not the most ideal conditions for playing cricket. We lost the toss and were asked to field first. The first ball came down from Scott Puplett and was deposited neatly into my hands on the off side 45 by their opener. A very good start to a potential banana skin of a fixture.
A few wickets tumbled and the bowling was rotated rather frequently for a Wednesday night. I was asked to remove the cap and loosen the shoulders, which I did, dispatching a chap whom I went to school with in the first over and conceeding a mere 6 runs. He tried to guide one to Cow Corner and missed, the ball just bouning neatly off the top of his bails. The second over was when I got into my stride. Allowing a cheap single to the new batsman, I took on the slightly more settled left hander, who tried a sweep shot, watched the ball flick off his bat, pad and halfway up his middle stump. Cue a few nervous laughs from the Cookley boys. The next ball received an almighty swing, the captain's shot only going skyward. Will Morgan with the safe gloves guided that one back to earth and suddenly, I was on a hat trick, for the second time in my career. The new batsman played exactly the same shot, with very similar results. Brian Davies taking the catch on the leg side 45 to give me my first Hat Trick and career best bowling figures of 2 (8 ball) overs; 9 runs conceeded; 4 wickets.
It gets expensive, when you bowl well, but I'll pay for that round of drinks, just to do that again.

Overkill, Exodus, Kreator and a few other key thrash artists would also fit his tastes. As for Metallica, I'd bet Duke Nukem would call them pussies.Good point, Duke Nukem is just too badass. Funny we're talking about him now since when I was having a little trip with my parents yesterday, I was wondering what would Duke Nukem's favourite bands be if he was a real person. Nope. No Manowar for me. Never. Why should I listen to bands that I don't like?
No, it will be remembered as the silliest argument on Newgrounds. It's OK, it actually made it funnier. Hopefully in 5 years time, our Manowar arguments will be remembered by the next generation of Wi/Ht?'ers. :PIt will be remembered as the most boring and stupid thing that has ever been discussed in the LUL. ^^
Silly and boring.
If you're talking about season 21, then I actually haven't watched any from there. I did see the whole of season 20 and to be honest, a fair amount of them were actually decent. They seemed to have switched gears when they started using the HD intro which is funny because the new intro sucks. Ah well, at least they've made some improvements.I've seen many episodes from the later seasons and I know how bad they are. These horrible episodes can't get away from criticism. The latest season (and the one before) was pretty good in my opinion. Sure, some jokes are shown for far too long, but overall the episodes are funny.
Tbh, I never know which season an episode is from, but for the last 2 years (I guess this must have been season 19, 20 and/or part of 21) there where some funny episodes.
Also yes, the new intro sucks. It's too long.

Exactly and it took this long to get it right. Wow.I played a bit of it last night and so far so good. For once, I truly feel like I'm Batman. That's what I loved about it; the atmosphere is perfect, it really feels like everything you want in a Batman game lumped into one game.
Yeah, but when they got it right, they really did.. Almost flawless.
Looking forward to Arkham 2, and secretly hoping it will be something in a GTA-scale Gotham City, I would be so unbelievably happy.Sounds like a challenge. Hopefully they know what they're doing with that since Spider-Man tried that once and I got bored with the game so fast. Batman could probably pull it off better, though because it's fucking Batman!
Yeah, I've brought this point up with friends who disagreed saying the stealth in Arkham worked so well because it was a closed environment, and if it was applied to a whole city it wouldn't work as well, but I don't care, I want my GTA Batman dammit!

Well I never ever needed cardio for sprints, but if you feel like it'll help then feel free. What's going to make your times go down is lifting weights with your legs. Sprints are about strength and speed, which is formed from muscle.
Anyway, I ran the 100 in 11.5 and the 200 in 23.9 seconds. Those were my fastest times ever and I never repeated them though. Most of the time I ran a 11.8 in the 100 and 24.2 in the 200.Yeah, I'm not even close. Then again, I'm young, so I can still get faster. I might not get 23/9s any time soon, but I've got 4 years before high school ends so I've got a goal.
