Yeah, Rage's gift thread was huge in 2007. It wasn't so active in there beforehand and the mods were tolerable with it. However, it went downhill when it was popular.

All I know is that since it was locked I haven't been flagging nearly as much. I've been stuck at gold for almost two years now. I'm sure the LUL was also popular back then since it's rather difficult to ignore 2000+ page thread.

I think I actually have more than Bahamut, but he uses his more often. Mine were only made with the purpose to take cool and/or funny names. I also just have a lot of parody accounts such as FroClock, FroLock, FroGlock, FroDuck, with no other purpose than to coauthor my Clock Day submissions. Then there are the shared accounts which I have with 3 or more people, then there's the shared account between Nick and I, which is used by both of us every now and then of FroNickProductions.

I think that one guy was trying to buy them and move them elsewhere (Winnipeg), but the NHL blocked that move and they were committed to selling to an owner who wanted to keep them in Glendale.

I think that one guy was trying to buy them and move them elsewhere (Winnipeg), but the NHL blocked that move and they were committed to selling to an owner who wanted to keep them in Glendale.

Hmm... I think there was a similar thing with Nashville - they wanted to move them somewhere else, due to lack of audience. I think all their playoff games were sold out, though. The NHL wouldn't have allowed that, I think.
