Yeah, but it's one of the problems in the movie. I mean, EVERYONE knew that was going to happen, really predictable. And everyone knew he would become one of them in the end.
Yeah it's one of the major flaws of the movie. I'm glad it didn't won so many oscars by the way, because it wouldn't have deserved them imo.
Heh, and James Cameron lost the Best Director award to his ex-wife. :P
Imagine what their son would be like?
Yeah, I noticed him adjusting them quite often. Maybe it was only those glasses, there might be better shaped ones around.
I think they usually only have one size for everybody in the cinema's. Perhaps your dad just needs bigger ones.
Maybe, but I think they only had one default size. Everything was in one big box, at least.
Hmm, I think there are only three 3D rooms in here. Once it gets more popular, they should open more.
Only three in all of Brazil? :o Or just in your region?
Hahaha, just in my region, there are more around Brazil. :)
Oh, and how's the movie, anyway? Worth watching?
I think it was pretty enjoyable and worth a visit to the cinema's. Don't expect it to be anything like the books though, a lot of elements in the cinema version do not fit the book that well actually. Like wars and fighting scenes.
Hmm, so Tim Burton twisted the story, eh? I'm willing to see it now, I'll check whenever it's in the movies...
Really? No discounts for 3d movies? That's unfair - it's still a movie, isn't it?
Yeah it doesn't make any sense to me.
Well, maybe they'll lower the prices when 3D cinema becomes more popular... right?
Oh, and the weekday also matters in here. Weekends and holidays are more expensive, while weekdays are about 5,00 cheaper. It's great going to the cinema after school, specially when there's a mall right next to your school. :)
Heh yeah I wish there was a cinema nearby here as well. Otherwise I'd consider buying a subscription so that I can go to the cinema all year for a set price. I'd love to spent some of my evenings there every month.
Whenever my friends want to go to watch a movie, we just stay at the mall, have lunch and wait until it starts. :)
But I think there aren't subscriptions in here. Individual tickets only.
Yeah, we don't know what artists think about that, not all of them, at least. I mean, everyone knows how much Metallica LOVES when you download one of their songs. ;P
Haha :p Aren't people blaming them nowadays for becoming sell-outs or something? Like when they made a Metallica Rock Band version, their fans really didn't like that or so I've heard.
I liked GH Metallica, I don't care whenever someone says that a band sold out. As long as their music is enjoyable...
Also, their concerts are amazing. :)
Also they played at a dutch festival called Pinkpop two years ago. Pinkpop... as the name already implies, it's mostly for pop/poprock music and a lot of people are dressed in pink there. There's nothing heavy metal about it at all. Yet they played there anyway.
Really? Wow, now that's pretty weird, since they have a bad-ass reputation... playing in a pop festival? O_o
Sure, it's possibly BB King's last world tour, but 150,00 for the CHEAPEST one? If it was about 100,00, I could've bought a ticket, but those extra 50,00 make a big difference. Come on, I paid only 40,00 for Muse. :)
Lol. That's a big difference indeed. How much are these 'reals' worth in dollars?
1 dollar = 1.76 reais. So 150,00 reais = 85 dollars.
That's a good idea, although I think they didn't get along with Syd Barrett really well. Still it would be a nice homage to the former members.
I don't know about that. All I know is that Syd Barrett lived alone for the rest of his life and always got pissed when reporters called him Syd Barrett. So I guess he never had much contact with the band anymore after the emotional meeting when they were recording Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
I know there's a reference to him in a Pink Floyd song in The Wall. It's a hidden backwards message in "Empty Spaces", I think.
And "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is an excellent song.
Right... but do you think David Gilmore holds any bad feeling over Waters? I mean, the band didn't end in the most pacific way possible...
I think a friend told me some time ago that David Gilmore is the only one stopping a Pink Floyd reunion at the moment. The other band members have set their differences aside at some point.
Well, they should get over their differences and make a small reunion... Not only they would revive their old days, but the crowd would be sold-out, wherever they played at.
And HAARP is short for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. Don't ask me why they put that as the title. :P
Lol, that's a crazy title indeed. It's even weirder than How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (U2). Is there any deep thought behind it (sorry for asking anyway)? :p
I'm not sure... Since Matthew Bellamy LOVES conspiracy theories, it might have to do something with it. HAARP is a target for many conspiracy theories, including nuclear weapons related. :P
So if they made an instrumental album...? :)
I think I might like it?
Who knows... they had a small orchestra in their previous album, anything is possible!
I really like it's riff. I actually learned how to play the whole song in one afternoon, it's easy and fun to play.
I'm no guitar player myself, but it indeed doesn't seem like a difficult song to me. As far as I can hear there are like only... two riffs in the entire song and that's it for the guitar play?
It's not too hard, it's a simple riff and the chorus is easy as well, only a few chords.
I'm pretty sure it would still take me weeks to learn though, since I really don't have any musical talent.
Learning how to play a guitar isn't a very easy thing... you will be horrible for 6 months, until you start playing something. It takes a lot of practice and patience. But it's worth it. :)
Despite that, I believe they don't use drugs. :P
Nah they don't seem like drug users to me. They seem more like the kinda guys that never smoke, drink or do drugs at all actually. I forgot how those people were called again... straight-edgers or something...?
I think that's correct, although I've seen Bellamy smoking with Slash in a video. Anyway, I think they don't do any hard drugs. Maybe just the regular alcohol / cigarette.
Too bad he smokes, though. :(
