Well, I've got some writing to do - thankfully, I don't do stories for every single 1,000 point milestone, or I'd be snowed under today :P
God, I still feel like a nub here... Anyway, level 5! God I suck.
Just passed 4,000 saves. Looks less impressive when it's surrounded by people posting 20,000+ stats.

Nope, you still need port 2 to beat Mantis.
How about Bahamut7? He handles the Character Battle polls very well. :PAh, of course! Well, we know who will handle the awards, if they ever happen.
And he gets my vote for "favourite Bahamut alt"!
Good. :) Toohot is a slacker in terms of blams so Bahamut7 is indeed my best alt.

That makes no sense whatsoever.
Yeah, I can name Rocking All Over the World, Whatever You Want...Uhh, that's it.In the army now is great as well.
Oh yeah, Rain is another one but only because Helloween covered them. I could probably name a few more songs of theirs but not right now.
Soldier didn't know anything about port 2.Stupid soldier. The colonel didn't tell him?
No-one nominated Colonel for the Character Battle so he couldn't do a thing.

That is often the case I think. Although the bigger bands usually have more familiar names in the supporting act.
But U2 also had Arkansas 101 or something once. They weren't bad, but it was five years ago and I haven't heard anything of them ever since.
You should check out Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond then. It's a ~24 minute song divided in nine parts of which the first five are played at the beginning of their album* and the last four at the end. It's quite a relaxing and interesting song to listen to.Hahahaha, I know that song! My dad has Wish You Were Here, we listen to it in his car every now and then. I'm a Pink Floyd fan, I don't know why I didn't mention them in the long songs thing.
Lol. Well I checked your favorites and Pink Floyd didn't seem to be in there so I just assumed you might not know about them. Or just don't like them of course, but in that case you would probably not know their songs that well.
Dogs isn't split, but it's a 17-minute epic song. Another brick in the wall has three parts, although they're split in the album. Pink Floyd is one of my favourite bands! =)
Yeah, but you could easily split up Dogs in two at that quiet barking point. And I love that song as well, it's probably one of my favorites. Well actually the entire Animals album might be among my favorite Pink Floyd stuff.
Another Brick in the Wall is indeed another one, although the parts are not that long. Another album that comes to mind is Ummagumma. I haven't listened to it all that much yet, but I believe there are many songs with many parts on it.
And of course there is Echoes. I guess Pink Floyd just really loved to split up their songs for some reason.

I'd end up in the middle of the track, but listening to Absolute Classic rock in work does help this, as they put the radio edit of Shine on you Crazy Diamond at least once a week.
I believe they have actually brought out a 'single' of the song once. It's the entire 24 minutes in one track. So you might want to put that version on your iPod if you can find it.

Ah, right. At first, I thought about football, but there were league games that day, so... Plus, Wales only have Ryan Giggs as player, I think. :PYeah, but we've got to play the Welsh in the football to qualify for the European Championships, which should be fun.

To me it's not that fact that spam movies pass judgment but what happens afterwords is what really bothers me. Today, I entered the Top 200 in EXP! Sadly, I couldn't be exactly #200 but oh well, I'll take the extra rank for granted. I entered the top 250 on 19th July 2009 so that's taken me almost 7 months from 250 to 200. I'm guessing I won't see a top 150 entry until the end of the year.
Also, I decided to make my Top 10 metal intros but bare in mind that due to copyright claims, you may not be able to see this video. :( WMG and Sony took copyright claim on this video (but it's still up there) the second it was uploaded. Damn!

In my opinion, they should make a "more flashes, higher score" thing. For every 10 flashes an account has, the score for other flashes of his to pass should raise. That could work as well.

What happens if it draws?
Also, I decided to make my Top 10 metal intros but bare in mind that due to copyright claims, you may not be able to see this video. :( WMG and Sony took copyright claim on this video (but it's still up there) the second it was uploaded. Damn!
You uploaded it somewhere else as well, didn't you?

Before that I never listened to them much and only knew their famous songs.
I started listening to rock in general early as well. It helped me with English and defining what songs I like nowadays. I loved Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Zeppelin, Mike Oldfield, Genesis... All the songs that my dad listens to, basically.
Yeah, the song has a pretty big "jamming" part. In a Roger Waters DVD, during that part, some of the bands members stop to play poker in the middle of the stage, with the backing vocals as the dealers. Neat stuff.Really? I have never seen that performance, but it sounds pretty cool. Can you tell me which DVD that was?
In The Flesh, a really good DVD. It's part Pink Floyd/part Roger Waters' songs.
Indeed and the second part does not really set the right tone for the third part. I think you'll need Don't Leave Me Now.Another Brick in the Wall is indeed another one, although the parts are not that long. And it's hard to count them as one song, since they're "bonded" with other songs. I mean, you can't listen to parts 1 and 2 without "The Happiest Days In Our Lives" between them. I'd rather listening to The Wall as a whole.
Agreed. Part 3 has a different... mood from the other 2 parts.
Speaking of which, have you ever watched The Wall movie?

You might as well forget about trying to put mainstream music on Youtube. You should try some other site like Veho.

You know, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. You would think the more as a user submits the better he should get. I like this idea but it might be difficult to implement because they might break out an alt just to submit garbage.
Portal Mods. I've said that a couple of times already, along with a thousand other users.
Eh, I think the staff feels very hesitant about having users mess around with other user submitted content. They typically want all of the responsibility of deleting stuff on Wade or another Staff's shoulders in case they are wrong.
What I really think they can use is another Admin to help carry Wade's burden of dealing with stolen content and such. What's Luis really doing; let's get him to do some work. :)

Yeah, Wade isn't too quick with this stuff due to the volume of PM's he gets. It's been five days since I pm'd him about a stolen submission and it's still here. More staff would be great.
Also, this is my 9000th post!
Just realized I became Safety Patrol. I'm the man.
Achievements are taking a while to attain these days which is having the knock-on effect of me not having any real reason to post in the level up! lounge, except to drop in on the people I know here.
So this is me saying hello and sorry I have nothing else to post :(
