I wouldn't really say I'm on Newgrounds all day every day. In the summer, I play cricket on weekends for about 8-9 hours on Saturdays and Sundays, with about the same for sleep. Sure, during the summer, my B/P takes a small hit, unless it rains off the games, but I think that it's just a case of stopping by every now and again, in order to keep a check on the portal activity.

Yeah those two can go though there are some good artist here; Hacsev with his music and Bahamut outstanding flash movies.

On top of that I think this forum would definitely need a Most Helpful User award. A Biggest Statwhore award would be cool as well :p

That's not a bad idea. I would think it would be easy to figure out who has earned the most total points over the past year. I might look into that. As far as most helpful user that might fall under the RCLV as Bahamut mentions. I dunno, I was just messing around to see how many Wi/Hters I could cram in the BBS awards list. Yes, but there are lots of people voted on that list every year. Besides it would be impossible for any member to win that award if you only look at the RCLV.

You could for example vote for someone like shunshuu, who's been very helpful throughout the year finding flashes for people.

Humbug! My niece's first sight of the trees will be later today and we've got an obnoxious Santa Claus that dances and sings Jingle Bells. How much does her first Xmas mean to me? I changed the freaking batteries!

As I've said, most european countries have a christian background, so why should there be breaks for Kwanzaa or Hanukkah in a country if it has no cultural/religious background?
You sure Hanukkah isn't celebrated in Germany in the slightest?

"Hey, Kwanzaabot, where you off to?
Ah, you didn't hear about it? Chanukah Zombie's having a luau at the B'nai Brith! You comin'?"

Ah yes. Any multiples of 6 achievement is good for it.
Indeed but three 6's works well or even better, six 6's. That's whenever you get 666,666 total points.

That's quite a way away. I'm not even sure if I'll get there.

I'll give you some points for not being a Red Wings fan. :P

Additional points for being a Wings hater? They're my most hated of rivals. I came to Colorado hockey close to the Claude Lemieux incident in '96.

Do you love Denver sports teams for some reason?

It just happened that way - I gravitated to the Avs, because of Joe Sakic, so I really miss his presence on the team. With the Nuggets, it was a case that I followed a kid from the Syracuse Orangemen when they won the NCAA finals in 2003. Of course, that was on Carmello Anthony. I was never that big of a LeBron fan, but Melo's carving himself a nice niche this year.

And oh yeah did you check out the World Cup Schedule. What's up with that!

Yeah, it's going to be fun, meeting you guys in the first match of Group C. I was fearful of a "Group of Death", but it could have gone too far the other way, as we'll have to play a quite a bit tougher opponent in the second round. We'll see how it pans out. Quietly optimistic is my opinion at present.

Oh. So it's a good thing you didn't know earlier I have a soft spot for the red wings, then? -.-
Also, this is still one of the best hockey videos on the net. :D

That is a good video. I'll be sure to show that to some friends later, for a good laugh.

Also, you can only hate the Avalanche for that cheap shot AND the turle Lemieux. xD

Darren McCarty's wasn't much better though - pushing Lemieux to the boards and managing to knee him in the head. I long for the glory days, where we can deliver good clean hits on Detroit and start the melee all over again!

Haha, Coop likes Denver sports teams and I seem to like Detroits sport teams. I also have a soft spot for the Pistons. ^^

Yeah, but I guess from the above statements that you don't like the Tigers (baseball) and I'm not sure about the Lions (NFL) Does Detroit have an MLS team?

DoD Memorial Statwhoreiness Award? Sounds great on a plaque. (See below)

Yes it does actually :p Looks really good.

You could for example vote for someone like shunshuu, who's been very helpful throughout the year finding flashes for people.
True true. Maybe a newcomer of the year which would encompass the Regs and an overall Wi/Hter of the year which could be both Reg and Members.

Newcomer of the year would be the same as rookie of the year then I guess.

I like Wi/Hter of the year. Should indeed for both Regs and Members.

And shunshuu deserves such award because he's a machine at finding the impossible.

Agreed.

Tssk. The only interesting match in the entire group phase is Portugal - Brazil =/ I find most of the other groups pretty sad and uninteresting to be honest.

I was also glad our country still got Denmark as an opponent. At least we got a little bit of competition now. I don't expect much from Japan and Cameroon to be honest.

Anyway, I wish they just got rid of the protected status for awesome countries... I'd rather have a group of death with Holland, Brazil, Italy and Germany than only having interesting matches near the finals. It already seems predetermined who's gonna get to the second round and who isn't.

Humbug much?

Yeah, I hate Christmas. On the bright side, there shouldn't be any decorations in my room as the tacky glass one that's in my room every year was accidentally smashed by my dad as it fell from the loft. :D I just wish I was there to see it.

LOL, NewsReporter for Worst Poster.
EmoDragon for Drama Queen. :)

Fagamut for Biggest Attention Whore?

Yeah, I thought it was a strange decision. At least she had a better idea on who to nominate for that category than I did. I couldn't even think of anyone.
I find it kind of odd since I don't talk to her all that much; like only a few times. Interesting...

It happens, you do get those who nominate for you but you barely know them. I don't even know who andhination is and he gave me Most Overrated. Then again, he did make a comment on how Most Underrated should always be those who aren't even mentioned at all.

Picture

Now that's something this forum should remember in a few years time. We've had awesome pictures before which aren't well remembered these days. I'll have to dig up that Terminator Wi/Ht? picture from years ago.

Yeah. I mean, a bit of decoration can look nice, but most people just tend to stuff everything they can find in their windows and on their houses.

My parents just use the same fucking crap year after year after year.

Too bad you forgot then. :P Also, this also means I write better posts about Christmas.
This only means I think your posts are better in general than mine. That doesn't mean that you post better posts than me on every topic. :P

I believe it does and I believe it means I'm right about the shitblade being shit and how you get angry everytime you achieve something.

OVERKILL!
Quite so.
But speaking of Overkill, this is just another band I have to check out. I've seen them at Wacken Open Air a few years ago, but the sound was awful.

Give The Years of Decay a try but maybe not listen to Elimination first as that sounds very much alike to Master of Puppets and The Four Horsemen/Mechanix.

You sure Hanukkah isn't celebrated in Germany in the slightest?
I don't know. I don't know any jewish people, but I'm sure they celebrate Hanukkah and not Christmas. But I thought we where just talking about when there are breaks from school and stuff. And I don't get a break from uni for Hanukkah or any other jewish holidays.

It's so for Christmas but not Hanukkah? BIAS!

Why these obnoxious pieces of crap ever get made is beyond me. If there was ever one here, it'd be a test of sanity and I already have my sanity on the line from all the annoying adverts on TV. >:( At least Compare the Meerkat died down. I was ready to break the old TV whenever that was on.

This is where Futurama gets respect. They acknowledge the other December holidays unlike the majority of the population today.
