I've never heard anybody else say SIT is their favorite Maiden album; most people seem to go for Seventh Son or Powerslave, which are probably my 2nd and 3rd favorites.

Well, I don't really have a favourite album - so many of them have catchy tunes that I enjoy listening to. I quite like Flight of Icarus and The Trooper. But then there are such excellent tracks as Fear of the Dark and Childhood's End. Of course, I think I can pick a favourite track from each album of Maiden's that I've listened to, with the exception of Killers, as I haven't finished listening to that yet. However without Bruce, I personally don't think that Maiden truly had a chance to realise their potential.

I think that Seventh Son is an awesome album.
Most certainly. Gotta love Infinite Dreams, The Prophecy and the title track. :)

Personally, after the first run through, I think that the best track (aside from Can I Play with Madness and The Evil That Men Do, because every part time Maiden fan knows these songs) is Moonchild.

Though I haven't gotten to Killers yet, I don't think I'm going to appreciate it as much as some of the others I have, due to the lack of Dickinson vocals.
With or without Bruce, I feel it's the weakest 80's Maiden album. A few too many fillers me thinks.

I'm listening to it now - not bad, but I'm ruing what could have been since this is the last one they did before he joined the band.

I think the next two on my want list is Powerslave and Piece of Mind. They should sate my appetite for now ;)
Indeed, they're two of the greatest heavy metal albums ever recorded.

Yeah, I've listened to Powerslave a few times, so that's worth adding to the collection.

Whoa...

Thanks A LOT! I thought you guys were just mocking me... I can't believe you guys are actually going to do it!

Hey, no problem. We're willing to help some great people out with their troubles. :)

Oh, and that ''other person'' you meant... Wylo?

We did up until Wylo got it hmself. Me and gfox were talking about this last night and thought maybe Auz was interested as well. I'm not too sure myself, but whether he is or not, I still have another person in mind to gfit TF2 to.

What about Wylo?
I added him that same day! :)

Still need to find more known people, though. I'll have a look at the TF2 Crew in here.

Eh, give it some time. My friends list started small but grew to a decent 16 people. May not be a lot but it's nice and managable. However, I don't mind having more friends on Steam as long as they're not just random adds.

THE MOOOOOOOOOON!

I must have played GT2 more than GT1, but I don't think I ever finished it 100%. The challenges in that game were crazy. I still wish to pick up GT1 first before the sequel as I want to go back to where it all started and remember how much I loved the PS1 era of Gran Turismo.
I never got to play GT1, I think. But I do remember that some races in GT2 were crazy, especially those with HP limitations. The rally races were ridiculous, though. And if you had the mega-overpowered "Escudo", you were done.

Yeah, there were some hectic tracks. It was bad enough trying to do them in license mode.

You will get some rather empty servers and it's better to play in a more active one, even if it means for the game to play slightly slower.
Yeah, I'd rather play on servers with more people. I usually got servers with about 6 on each side and the game still ran nicely, so I'd say it's pretty good.

12 players isn't too bad, but if a bigger server is possible, then great.

I believe it is.
Really?

105 points... 110 points... 115... :P

Where did my extra points come from again?

That sucks. :(
Yeah... at least my uncle lives in the USA and brings cheaper games. :)

Your uncle rocks!

One word: OUCH!
When I think about the B/P 51+... ugh...

I'd say the Regulars List is the worst.

For what you thought couldn't play well on your computer, that's not too bad. At least it's somewhat playable, but as for my laptop, having it run at 15 - 25 FPS most of the time is inexcusable!
It still doesn't run like I can see in your videos. It only runs like that when I'm alone. But when someone enters the screen... LAG!

Well, my laptop no longer runs the game that fine. :(

Check out Battle Hymns and Kings of Metal. Epic stuff. Disregard whatever Haggard will say about this.
Might do, depending on my "music mood". I'm currently in an alternative rock mood. :P

Fair enough. Check them out whenever you can. :)

That's a good point, but some people just cross that line really bad. I mean, I know some people who used to like My Chemical Romance, but after discovering that they were labelled as "emo", they simply stopped liking it. Out of nowhere. But hell, not everyone is like that.

Ack, that's not too good. If they want to make a few exceptions with the emo tag, I'd say go right ahead.

This helped me a lot on getting into more Power Metal after discovering DragonForce and Helloween. As a matter of fact, the third Power Metal band I discovered was Blind Guardian and I randomly stumbled across them out of all the Power Metal bands out there. O_O Afterwards, I heard loads more Power Metal after discovering Last.fm and their radio stations.
Heh, I've known Helloween and Blind Guardian Since I was 5. Older brothers FTW! :)

Holy fucking shit! :O Now I feel ashamed for discovering them at the age of 15. XD

There's no fireball/Mega Flare icon. :(
Too bad. A fireball would match a dragon perfectly. Even on Newgrounds.

Level 61?

I believe he was. O_O
Whoa! So all those B/P points... could've been on his main? O_O

Who knows.

I wasn't happy. Next time it happens, I protest.
I hope it won't happen again. I wasn't very fond of it either.

Yeah, the pink layout was cancer to my eyes. While they were making breast cancer awareness, they needed to be easy on people's eyes.

Yeah, a spring from Barrichelo's car hit him very close to the visor, which is the only sensitive part in the helmet. Now he has a pretty deep cut above his eyebrow. He was very unlucky, because it could've hit anywhere in the helmet, but the visor.

Hah, I remember trying to get the "S" licence in GT2. I think the best one I got was a silver, in the rally track. At least the bronze times were really extended, so getting them wasn't that bad. The biggest problem was staying on the track. :P

Yeah, I'd rather play on servers with more people. I usually got servers with about 6 on each side and the game still ran nicely, so I'd say it's pretty good.
12 players isn't too bad, but if a bigger server is possible, then great.

IIRC, the last server I played on (before the free weekend was over) had 10 players on each team. And it was still running nicely, my ping wasn't that bad (probably around 170 or so). And it wasn't a local server, I think it was held in the USA. So I guess it also depends on the server connection.

Yeah, a spring from Barrichelo's car hit him very close to the visor, which is the only sensitive part in the helmet. Now he has a pretty deep cut above his eyebrow. He was very unlucky, because it could've hit anywhere in the helmet, but the visor.

A 4" gouge was carved in Massa's helmet, which was quite worrying.

Yeah, server connections and speeds can differ between different servers.

Where did my extra points come from again?
Iron Maiden concert! That's worth 100 points.

But what about the 110, 115, etc?

I'd say the Regulars List is the worst.
Because the pages there are incredibly LOOOONG!

I do apologise for the huge ass posts. ;_;

Well, my laptop no longer runs the game that fine. :(
Why not?

I dunno. Either Steam has a fault with the client that causes all Source-engine games (besides Portal) to lag often or I really need a faster connection. It seems 2MB isn't enough these days. Plus, we're paying for 2MB cable when we could be having 10MB fibre optic.

Holy fucking shit! :O Now I feel ashamed for discovering them at the age of 15. XD
Hahaha, only at 15? Heh, my brother began liking them because of his friends. Then he made a CD with Helloween, Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Avantasia... All the good stuff!

I'm glad you got into them that way. :D My sister found out about Iron Maiden, Helloween and Blind Guardian because of me. She really loves Iron Maiden, but isn't a big fan of Helloween or Blind Guardian. She likes some of their songs, though. BTW, what are your thoughts on Blind Guardian?

I see. We have a 1MB connection here, and it's one of the causes of the lag. We wanted to change to a new provider, but it isn't working around here. They might open a station nearby, with cable TV, telephone and internet services for a pretty good price, but it's unsure.

Blind Guardian? I think they're a great band. Apart from the fact that they cancelled a concert in here in 2002 because of the FIFA World Cup final result (Brazil 2 X 0 Germany) which was pretty stupid, I like them a lot. For now ;) It's only about another 42 days until I catch him :P
Hahaha, that's still going to take a while. Now only if deckheadtottie posts here. :P

I'll see what I can do ;)

Yeah, a spring from Barrichelo's car hit him very close to the visor, which is the only sensitive part in the helmet. Now he has a pretty deep cut above his eyebrow. He was very unlucky, because it could've hit anywhere in the helmet, but the visor.
A 4" gouge was carved in Massa's helmet, which was quite worrying.
Yeah, I also heard that the total weight in the impact was about 150kg. Massa was going pretty fast at the time, and that spring is quite heavy as well.

150G-force impact? Nah, It can't be - the spring only weighed at 1kg and you're talking a 4-5G impact incurred from the speed that Massa was travelling, surely?

Though I haven't gotten to Killers yet, I don't think I'm going to appreciate it as much as some of the others I have, due to the lack of Dickinson vocals. I think the next two on my want list is Powerslave and Piece of Mind. They should sate my appetite for now ;)
.... DON'T... ALREADY... HAVE.... POWERSLAVE? EGAD, MAN! POWERSLAVE, FFS!!!!!

Piece of Mind's great, too. But there's only 3 tracks on it that are in my fave Iron Maiden tunes, whereas literally 7 out of 8 tracks on Powerslaves are most of my Iron Maiden favetuneslist! EGAD, MAN, EGAD!!!!

POWERSLAVE NAO.

Looks like I touched a nerve here. Look, I'll get to purchasing it at some point. Right now, I've got 7 Maiden Albums and have 'borrowed' an 8th off my brother.

Iron Maiden
Killers
Number of the Beast
Somewhere in Time
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
No Prayer for the Dying
Fear of the Dark
Edward the Great 'borrowed'

From the collection I've got, I'm reasonably happy. The more well known tracks that aren't on the actual albums I own are in EtG - Flight of Icarus, The Trooper, 2 Minutes to Midnight, for example.

I'll get to owning them, before I go for the live stuff. Flight 666 is quite appealing as well :P
