That day was the first day I've given a 0 to my favorite movies and a 5 to the ones I hate the most. Some ones that it would normally take 5-10 days to go up .01 went up .01 with one 0 on that day.

What is it with this current spate of really, really good submissions? I played Gunny Bunny a few days ago which is incredible considering it was done in flash, the second part of ROTMK is great, the new Foamy is the best one I've seen and that Mega Man vs. Metroid game is the best thing I've played on NG, even better than Johnny Rocketfingers. Together with that l30 bug the other day, these are true halcyon days here at NG that we can tell our grandchildren about. Now to watch that new Taco Man flash which should be great.

Hey all, just thought I'd stop by to say that a couple days ago I finally made Elite Guard Second Lieutenant.

I've been a little busy with school, and audio portal work, but I've finally managed to get back on track like I was before (more or less).

Heh...my goal is to have at least the top 50 in techno in the audio portal...and I have a feeling it will a piece of cake...muahaha..

I slept about half that last night, my sister had a friend over for the night and they stayed up till 2:00AM watching movies. They had it loud enough for the whole house to hear and their incessant laughter made it worse. The good side is the friend has just left, and it's still early morning.

Uh, yeah... "halcyon" days, except that aside from the 8 hours of level 30 glitch + no portal + no voting + no pic posting on the BBS (but at least being able to post on the BBS PERIOD)...

we had a 3+ hour outage of ALL NG function on Sunday evening, and yesterday we had a 12+ hour outage of ALL NG function once more, and we just now finished a 6+ hour BBS outage.

Now, aside from all those problems, yes, NG is doing real well about now. I watched that Foamy flash earlier this morning, and yeah, it was the best thing I've seen from IllWillPress since the first I ever saw from him (which is still my fave), Shower of Terror.

I haven't tried the MegaMan/Metroid game, I'll have to check that out. Is it super CPU intensive? Hope not...

Best time of day to eat is after you wake up, because your body uses the food and nutrients more efficiently and your metabolism burns calories faster.

If you eat before you go to bed, the exact opposite is true: you end up putting on weight from the food sitting around in your stomach and intestines during your sleep, when you're not burning many calories and your metabolism goes into hibernation mode.

And this is why midnight snacking is not a good idea (unless you don't go to sleep till 6 AM, I suppose).

It's an idiom. I can't really explain exactly what it means, but I believe it basically means "ready for action."

But yes, being ready for beer is a pretty good thing, too. I think I'll go have a hard lemonade, though.. hmmm... it is 7 AM, but I've been up since 3 AM after a nap from 11:30 PM to 3 AM, so that doesn't count as drinking too early, more like drinking too late. #;-}>

I know what you mean, the eat and sleep bug hits theres nothing you can do to stop or hold it off cause you have that against you - glad that you got some rest, i be loving getting those 12hr sleeps and feelin majorly satisfied.........hmmmmmmmmmmm Beeerrr....
