It seems like people who were way behind you in experience at one point start to catch up. If Humantarget52 didn't deposit for a week would we need less experience to reach the next level?

People behind you only catch up if you stop depositing for any reason. And yes, you'd need less experience to reach ANY level if he doesn't deposit, even for one day. That's why there are currently 3 teams of elite commandos hunting for HT right now, and trying to get him away from his computer for a couple days. They succeed every now and then, and that's when we get a leg up on reaching our exp goals sooner. :::nods:::

It may say 1 VP, but it isn't really 1.

The last two times this happened, in March and May, we COULD vote on stuff back then, and if you voted while the error was going on, it worked normally, but on the "thanks for voting!" screen it would say your VP was like -15.35 or something and would say "you raised this movie to 5.50 with your vote of 1" or something. Weird shit, but not 1 VP shit. #;-}>

Third time I've been through the error, and yeah, I remember what Joe's talking about from the previous two times. I don't remember what my -HUGEVOTINGPOWER was, but it was obviously nowhere near Nemesis's. Experience clearly plays a bigger part than b/p % bonus when the error is in effect.

I'm sure, BTW, that those same voting results would have happened today, it's just that we couldn't vote in the first place to find out.

Here's the latest (well, and final) version of the VP list I was assembling during the error, it shows that while everything up to level 9 was pretty much normal (except that no one had b/p % bonuses applied, most interesting!), everything after 400 exp was totally screwed up, and a VP of 5 quickly slid down past 4 and all the way past 2 to 1 for everyone over a certain amount in the middle of level 9.
