For the cricket update, we lost yesterday in dimming light conditions against the side that is aiming to return to the league they dropped out of last year. It really did show, unfortunately, as we only managed 82 runs and were demolished with just under half of the opponent's batting left.

Man, that sounds awesome, loss aside.... I really need to learn more about cricket, I think I'd enjoy it as a baseball fan....

It's around Lancashire, Yorkshire and Northumberland. The lakes tend to clump around the Pennines, which seem to be the spine of Northern England.
