Exactly 100. Woot woot in the toot toot!

So that explains why some have gone up a rank all of sudden.

No.... because the person who complains they're paying more because they pay $2 for 2 units instead of $1.30 for 1 unit... is an absolute idiot.
Obviously the guy who pays $1.30 for 1 is paying $2.60 for 2. You have to do a conversion before you can compare prices, and that's what I said about your litre vs. gallon comment.
I know the two units are different volumes, but if you CONVERT the price over here per gallon to a price per litre to compare to over there, you will still see that while we pay less, we pay shitloads more than we did 10 years ago, way more, %-wise, then you are now paying, as it hasn't gone up nearly as much for Europe lately as it has for us.
I didn't say anything about how big Germany is. I just pointed out that there aren't that much "big cities" in Europe. ;)
No, but I was responding to something I think you said about my comment to Shanus that if he drives a few hours from wherever he is, he's going to hit the ocean. You said that in Germany... not so much. That's why I said that Germany is indeed big, meaning you can drive for hours in Germany and not hit the coast.
"Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black!"
Aaah, I just love that quote. (even though it has nothing to do with the topic :P)

White stripes meh. Kinks is okay and I wouldn't mind some of the Hives as well...
Lemme look up who else is gonna be in there. It's supposed to be bands that either influenced Aerosmith, opened for them, toured with them, or were influenced BY them, I think.
Here's some of the Aerosmith AND other band songs that are reported to be in it:
Aerosmith Tracklist:
"Make It"
"Uncle Salty"
"Draw the Line"
"Movin' Out"
"No Surprize"
"Sweet Emotion"
"Livin' on the Edge"
"Rag Doll"
"Love in an Elevator"
"Kings and Queens"
"Mama Kin"
"Walk This Way"
"Dream On"
Others:
"Dream Police" Cheap Trick
"I Hate Myself for Loving You" Joan Jett
"All the Young Dudes" Mott the Hoople
"Personality Crisis" New York Dolls
"Complete Control" The Clash
"All Day and All of the Night" The Kinks
There ya go. HOW YA LIKE THAT? Pretty awesome, eh?
Yankees lost, but that was counterbalanced by the Avs winning the series against the Wild. Looks like we'll get the Wings next. Von Minty Joy Joy!
Well, that's good for ya.
On the bad side for me, the Rockets have lost both their home games in their series with the dirty Utah Jazz....
But on the plus side, the Astros won 6-4 on Sunday, and 10-3 on Monday. The offense is finally gelling, and the pitching is settling down. WOOT WOOT.

Man needs conflict but I wish it was more sports related. But sure more guns and weapons are created. War's very profitable to the people who make weapons. But that's a whole other kettle of fish
Yeah, I know we're not alone. But we're actually doing way worse than you guys right now. Europe is doing well compared to the US.
We're all sucking ass compared to China, of course.

Definitely. Your explanation of driving the same distance and crossing many borders in Europe... whereas in America you might still be in the same state.... gets to EXACTLY the same point I was making with my "in the UK or Ireland, you'll hit the ocean if you try to "drive across Texas," even, let alone the entire USA" argument, so.... we both used different examples to emphasise the same exact thing: Many Americans, especially truck drivers, have to drive a whole lot more than most Europeans do.At 4/22/08 08:02 AM, gfoxcook wrote:I think what I was trying to say was that dimensions in the USA are indeed a whole lot different than in Ireland, Germany or Europe in general.
While you can travel east in the USA for hours (or sometimes even days?) and still be in the same STATE, you will cross many borders when you do the same in Europe.
So, I was trying to agree with your statement that you (have to) drive a lot more in the USA than in Europe. ;)
Ok, good that we finally got rid of that misunderstanding here. :D
The Pistons play very unsteady since they made the play offs in the regular season. I think it might be very possible that they get kicked out in the first round :(
Yeah well... they've got a much better chance of making it out of the first round than my Rockets do now, who have to play 2 games in Utah... i.e. the site of the team with the BEST HOME RECORD in the NBA this year.
Rockets lost again and are now trailing behind Utah 2-0... it's going to be very hard.
I love hunting for Blam points!!!

Good, I'll have to get it sometime.Or just get Chronicles. It's one of the best "best of" albums I've ever purchased. Great overview of Rush's career.
I say no to best of albums.
Yes, almost all, but I didn't seem to have gone up a rank due to Shrapnel's #0 EXP place. Maybe I did, but didn't notice. You must have.
Actually, I did. I went down an EXP rank today.
Why did you congrat Bedn on #68 in exp when you clearly saw me explaining that he's not really #68, BTW? O_o
Because he WAS #68.

Norway isn't in the EU?
Nope, it doesn't need anyone or trading right. The world needs Norway's oil.
Yep. $99 to fly, $120 or so to drive (plus the wear and tear on your car).
That's if it's just one person, of course.
If you want to get two or three or four people across the state, driving will be cheaper, but still take a lot more time.
Gotta weigh up all the pro's and cons. But I need to buy a car this summer, should be fun. With oil on an every increasing scale.
Probably dead, sadly.
Yup, there's proof it's been found out before. But they're only conspiracies , believe what you wanna believe :P
Yep. They are teh win. I should know, I enjoyed 3 of the best years of my life there.

You mean Raphael? He was the best of the Turtles, because at least he knew how to have a good time, unlike Leonardo.
For the cricket update, we lost yesterday in dimming light conditions against the side that is aiming to return to the league they dropped out of last year. It really did show, unfortunately, as we only managed 82 runs and were demolished with just under half of the opponent's batting left.
