I simply said that cheating wasn't cool. (getting blammed by bots would be uncool)

Oh, but you wanted the story, sorry... someone shot way up in blam/saves by making a program that voted on everything submitted. Temping idea, but goes against what voting IS about because it calcuated a vote but never really watched the flash...
Now forgive me if I'm starting to sound like a Dad ;) but that's just not fair to the submitters.

bots can be bad
