War of the Portal - Part 4
12 - “Unleashed”
Note: Sorry for the long delay. I’m preparing for exams and have been very busy for some time. I’ll try to keep them going a little faster than that. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The King opened his eyes as he felt the heat of the sun flicker around him. With a large grin on his face, he released the enormous power held within.

The world shook suddenly as gfoxcook and Stamper stared at the circular barrier closely. Stamper mumbled some more words, causing a second barrier to appear around the first. carmelhadinosaur nodded as he stared at the strange power closely. A secondary precaution. The threads squeezed and shook the ball violently as it wriggled and shook, making the purple transparent shield slightly bulge out.
“Will it hold?” Said Qwoxyl, biting his fingernails.
“I hope it does,” Replied ReconRebel. “That counter spell was exactly the same as to the one Dobio used, but it was only a foot sized ball. This is just…”

The King roared as the threads began to bond with one another, moulding together into a sea of pure white heat. Radiation began to fade as he screamed at the counter attack, sending golden threads from his body to fly outwards through the water of evil. The golden thread stabbed at the hexagon as they moved faster, attempting to find weak spots, ripples and distort the shape of the spherical shield.

“The shield is changing shape!” Pointed Denvish as he stared in awe. He stepped back uneasily, unsure whether to run or look in horror.
“Isn’t there anything else you can do?” Roared Afterburner. “To stop it?”
One of the many hexagons that made the sphere make a glass cracking noise as some people jumped. It really was breaking.
Crono- shook his head. “It’s gonna break. I’m outta here!” He ran away as fast as he could, screaming like crazy.
More hexagons began to develop cracks as the hot white fluid began to slowly sift through, instantly melting a hole in the ground. The bottom of the spherical shield gave way as the strange power oozed through like an open tap, boring a hole into the ground. A crimson golden light began to shine from where the hole was developed.
“Just what we need,” Cursed RedCircle. “Another opening.”
the_phantom_spancker stared at the cracked half empty (or full) sphere as he noticed no figure inside of it.
“The submission – where is he?”
“He’s…gone.” Finished Inuzuka-Kiba.
The rest of the liquid finally fell out of the bottom of the shield as the power faded away, with no sign of death or injury. The figure within had vanished.
“Who the hell was that?” XkwiziTOnE said as he continued to make sure _lightning_, who was unconscious, was alive and well.
“The King of the Portal,” Said gfoxcook, sighing as he did so. “The most powerful submission and also the second Geminus Lord.”

The ground began to shake as Eldarion swore. “What the hell is going on now?”
The thin hole where the beacon of portal light radiated from turned off only for a fraction of a second as it tore open, revealing a huge green robotic structure. Sitting on each shoulder was a figure shorter than all of them. On the robot’s left shoulder was a yellow figure with a large head and black eyes. An alien. On the robot’s right shoulder was a short man with red hair, in a green top with a pistol resting in his hand.
“Those monsters!” Stamper said as he stepped back.
“That looks a bit like Emerald Weapon if you put your mind to it.” Smirked ReconRebel.
“This is no time for games!” Growled XwaynecoltX.
“What the hell are those things?” Asked Alkador.
“They are sealed monsters,” Stamper said slowly, daring not to take his eyes off the robot that stared down at them. It towered all of them approximately thirty feet in height.
“The Audio Bot, Alien Hominid and Pico.”
carmelhadinosaur whimpered as Pico fired bullets down on the group. He smirked with an evil grin as he did so.
“Murus!” Roared gfoxcook and Stamper at the same time as other bullets were deflected by Pico’s gun. Alien Hominid made a strange high pitched noise as it pointed his strange gun towards Stamper. A golden ball of plasmatic energy flew towards him as he dodged it, the strange attack tearing through the barrier.

_lightning_ stood up, fully focused on his task. He stared at the so called ‘Audio Bot’ as he gripped his stone tightly. He raised his hand as he called for the Power.
“Claustrum!” A bolt rippled from the cloudless skies zooming towards the robot’s head. It slammed like a tree cracking, having no effect. Even the two on the Bot’s shoulder were not affected, pointing their index fingers at the man while laughing.
“This is no time for games,” Said gfoxcook in a serious voice as he cracked his knuckles. “I think we’ll have to negotiate this aggressively!”

Well, j00bie posted something quite interesting today on another forum that we both frequent. Apparently, he has sent an e-mail to Wade requesting that he be IP banned. He says that he has become addicted to Newgrounds, and he can't muster the willpower to force himself away. I'm sure that some of you will be rejoicing at this news. However, I for one will miss j00bie quite a bit. Hopefully he doesn't abandon the internet all together.

Hmm, I find that really strange. If he's addicted to Newgrounds, then that's fine. A hell lot of other people are. If it's just a temporary IP ban so he can do something he needs to do, then that's fine, but if it's permanent, then that isn't good. Something does tell me he hasn't asked Wade for an IP ban.

I almost forgot something----it is my 200th day at NG as a user. :D:D:D (damn...I should have got 2000 exp points.) :(

That's good, but too bad you've missed lots of deposits. I think you should have 2030 EXP if you deposited everyday and got the extra EXP at the Join NG part.

I think it's large, actually. You see, iy takes 500 from Corporal to Sergeant, But it takes 1,000 from Sergeant to Staff Sergeant. So it's quite a nice landmark.
