Yes. Newgrounds is hosted in America as well as run by three American citizens. All three of them would probably come under fire if the law passed and any illegal images surfaced here.

Also: it isn't like this is a major loss, or even one at all. For the most part pornography wasn't really allowed here on the forums anyway. I know in my experience moderators would delete any that they saw and usually ban the posters. This site is supposed to be mostly worksafe when it comes to images (obviously, that isn't always the case) but I think this is just pretty much formalizing something that already for the most part existed.

I have to agree with this "No nude pic" policy. Newgrounds should be a community about flash art, maybe some fooling around, and though some submissions are realy weird like the Salad Fingers series, porno of any kind should not be allowed in the forums. I've seen so many forums destroyed by porno.

If you want porn, just go search around the net, believe me there is no shortage of it.

Yup. 2257 effects all websites in the USA. Unless you have records proving the person is over 18, and lists their address, phone #, etc, you can't have the image there without risk of breaking the law.
