Now that I think about trading in Ruby/Sapphire, does NASA actually allows trainers to trade a Deoxy? If so, that was kind of special.

Good for you . . . not that it matters in battles. Just in case some of you don't know, a shiny Pokemon will still have the same stats and values as a regular Pokemon. In other words, a shiny Pokemons will NOT be better than a regular. It is there for ascetics . . .

Speaking as ascetics, would it be interesting to customize the appearance of a Pokemon? And yes, I am talking about something like "Pimp My Pokemon" or something like that. Placing decals (aka tatoos) on a Shellgon, glitter on a Pikachu, or bling on a Lucario. Good? Maybe?

FYI: I did caught a shiny Bellsprout back in June 18, 2007. Even though it is not any better than a regular Bellsprout, I like to collect shiny Pokemons.

Still, finding a shiny one is 1 out of 8,192 chances. And remember that you can find them from hatching an egg as well as in the wild. Consider a shiny Pokemon the albinos of the Pokemon world.

I put an extra Mewtwo for trade on the GTS and got a shiny Deoxys, it was even legit.

It all takes chance, and a lot of soft resets to obtain a shiny Legendary. I wish I can do that, but still, it may take 8,192 tries just to get a shiny Legendary.

I'm trading away a shiny Lugia and normal Mew. I'm pretty sure the Lugia is hacked, but it's not OMG LEVEL 100 BEST MOVESET/NATURE..so..I guess I don't know.

It's tough . . . who am I kidding? A shiny Pokemon is no better than a regular Pokemon, so it matter not competition-wise. So, I don't regret my shiny Bellsprout.

Well I got this Mew for a 10 Anniversery Celebi, and the Lugia for a shiny Totadile.
I was planning on making an army of Mews and teaching them all sorts of moves..

Long ago, a shiny Steel Pokemon has some beneficial stats. Now, it is not the cause. Every shiny Pokemon is just the same as regulars.
