uhh denvish, my KeyQueue should possibly be in the projects section given the fact it's just code without a tutorial about how it works, it's just documented

Maybe people could suggest which section their tut should be in, since I'm often not too sure.

Well, I'm sure that occasionally new ideas will crop up, that people can cover - but yeah, that's a pretty amazing AS resource list we have there, so thanks VERY MUCH to everyone who's contributed and made this a success.

For anybody considering making more AS: threads, bear in mind that the most useful ones (ie, the ones that are linked to most often) are the ones that have questions asked about them (specifically, by Flash newbs) most often. So if you see a question repeatedly asked that hasn't been covered, or has been covered in perhaps too much detail/complexity (thereby putting off newcomers), that's the time to consider cracking open Notepad and start typing some stuff out to post.

bitmap manipulation.

(it's also twice as fast in processing classed AS, has photoshop like filters, and has new classes for stuff like colors)

Hey NGers. Im making a game, and I suck at AS, so I need some help. I've made some of the basic AS, but the stuff i need now is kinda hard.

What I need is someone to help with these codes. The first basic one is I need randomly generated Movieclips (which I have already coded) to bounce off of the walls of the Flash. I don't know how to do that.

The second one I need is, when you move the player with the arrow-keys, when he hits a certain randomly generated object, to go to a certain Scene and frame.

I don't know how to do this, either.

I am using Flash 8, and my MSN is slipnslide19@hot.
My AIM is Flynt200

Whoever wnats to help me out can be co-author if they want, I would greatly appreciate anyone who helps me out.

Heres what I have so far. I still need to put in the instructions and credits page, but I can easily do that. I guess that's it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Without it, I don't think this Flash will ever happen.

What I have so far.

At 9/20/05 06:09 PM, SpamBurger wrote: Hey has this been done before? AS: Or Statements It might be basic but I will be willing to make it if I get the OK.

I don't think it's covered in BleeBlaps Loops tut. If you're going to cover that, do and (&&) as well, and maybe some of the other symbolic operators (not (!), Less than (<), more than (>), etc.)
