How about changing the number of votes needed for a flash to pass judgement/be blammed from 200 to 250?
You can't not to notice that NG is getting wider...

Here are my ideas... When somebody submits a flash as a collab, all the animators should be able to reply to reviews... And i also think when you update your sig (like the writing) when you press update, it should take you to a screen that shows what your sig looks like...

That's a good idea (more from an image upload point of view rather than a text point of view). I'm going to implement that right now. Hopefully that will cut down on some confusion with regards to cached images, too - I'll force a reload on the new image, so people shouldn't get all confused when their browser shows them cached stuff in the forums and in their profiles.

And speaking of a text point of view, maybe something similar for the signiture text? Like a fake NG post showing your signiture underneith? Or maybe just show the text as it is, It'll help because then rather than having to keep checking back on the forums to see if you made any html or grammar mistakes you can just look in your GG menu.

3. the bbs signature picture update, to show the picture after it's been uploaded.

All images are non-cached images, so that should put an end to those ridiculous threads about, "Why hasn't my picture changed."

Very nice, I just changed my sig pic to test it, and it looks smooth... only comment is that the background on the 'sig updated' page is black, rather than the BBS bg colour, but that's a sweet little update.

All of the layouts for the Grounds Gold menu pages ultimately need revising, so I figured I'd leave page colouring out until we get settled on a new look for each of those pages.

I thought of another little thing that might be worth adding, you know in your profiles that it shows how many blams/protects you have? Why does it only show them individually? There could be another thing showing the total points, and maybe how many more is needed to reach the next badge, like the exp counter? It'd help for those who often check their B/P to see how much longer till the next badge.

About the profiles, I was thinking of a favourite games just like there's favourite bands and movies. I've seen quite a lot of threads asking what your favourite games are, so I wondered if adding a favourite games to profiles would be useful to cut down those sort of threads.

Ooh yes, thought of something that I was wondering about..

It's about multi authors - some authors aren't fitting in when let's say you have a submission of 15 users. I think that it would be nice seeing all of the names, but no need more than 5 users to appear with the options to choose from, only the rest of the movie's 'crew' names, appears smaller and have a link to the profile. It can be under the text: "Also part of the submission".

And, about the audio in flash movie, I think that it would be nice also to be able to choose more than one outsider music, because what if you have 5 NG audio submissions and 2 songs from different bands, how will you credit them all (beside comment and credits, something more official...)?

Yay liljim liked my idea... I think if it happened it would probably cut down most of the confusion not some of it... And the forced reload is a brilliant idea...

Maybe, but when they get round to redesigning the profiles (if that is gonna happen.) They might be able to put it in.

Agreed, I think that if the reason for the ban is picture spamming, then they should have the ability disabled for as long as they get banned, effective as long as their ban is lifted.

Ok I have one more suggestion. I think that the audio portal should play a bigger role in ones NG life/ profile. I think voting on audio portal submissions should be added to the 5 a day you need to deposite experience (so if you vote on 5 audio submissions, you can have the 10 experience points). Of course since you can only get 10 points max, voting on 5 audio and 5 flash wont give you 20 exp points. I also think that when you write reviews it should affect the reviews you have written (so your reviews on your profile are both audio and flash reviews). Finally i think you should also be able to show your audio portal b.a. in your profile, not just your flash b.a. I say this speaking as a once audio submitter, but i let my friend submit some stuff which got me banned from submitting stuff to the audio portal (im still pissed about that)... Grrr....

Ahh.. If you need me to clear any of that up i'll gladly do it...

well i think that would be a great idea, cause right now the audio portal seems like an afterthought to the flash portal. I would like to see it become more prominent.

How about a public list of all the previouse users to get king of the portal. Also there could be an award to go in ones profile " king of portal : xx/yy/ - xx/yy" < ----dates. This would give the award more meaning.

when i get the news letter every day telling me about great new flashes people have made i wish it would tell me if it is a game or a movie. i like the moveis just when their is a high ranking game you know it is going to be really good. and i would wand to cheak it out even more.

newgrounds needs to create a longer review ban people are really creating a stupid mess with their non-sensical (sp?) crap they create no flashes but write abusive reviews without knowing how hard even the simplest stick movie is (for noobs) .

Review bans have been known to go on for months and months until Wade decides to unbann every one. I'm not sure how much longer you want them to be.
