It takes less than a second.

Sorry, you just sounded so self-confident that I had to do it. :-D This is from a DSL connection:

Depends on how close you are.

Trying out yours, its been OVER 30 seconds downloading.

Just downloaded it, and it's a nice little tool. Thanks Nemisis for the program, Eldarion for the link, and SK for hosting it.

It shouldn't matter how long it takes to download it. We can all thank Nemesis for this great program. I use it about once or twice a week to see where I stand for making level 24 and level 25.

You have about 67 Days or about 0.2 Years left before you reach Level 24
You have about 454 Days or about 1.2 Years left before you reach Level 25

Level 24 is coming soon. And just 454 days until level 25, at least it's obtainable.

Heh. Yeah, it sucks. Whatchagonnado?

hey, could some one please figure out how long it will take me to reach levels 15, 18 and 20?
'yes that would be swell!'

ive tried downloading the program before and my pentium 2, 350MhZ computer wont take it XD hahah.

Strange, considering my pentium 2, 266mhz computer runs the program fine.

Are you sure it isn't just that you haven't DLed the required extra Microsoft files to run Nemesis' and SK's programs?

As he KINDA said, it does indeed depend on how close you are. I mean, come on, SK... how much closer are you to the tamu.edu servers here in Texas... than you are to shaw.ca's servers somewhere in Canada? #;-}>

Do you have it online somewhere else?

SK's is working, 9 posts up for the link. I just checked it.

Then technically both unowned and I are in the wrong, because his fast download speeds are directly connected to his proximity to the shaw.ca server :-p

Well of course. I thought that went without saying. #;-}>

There's no for-sure way to find an inbetween or equidistant person to try it out, either. If he's near Toronto, say, and you're in Texas, and so are the servers... you might think that someone over in the Seattle area would be a good example... but the pipelines in the US might be better than those in Canada.... so... the whole distance thing becomes muddied.

Still, that would be a better... and much closer to objective... measurement.

First we'd have to know where the shaw.ca server IS, though. We know where the tamu.edu is already.

Recon_Rebel is the first person who springs to mind as someone who should see how long both files take to DL. Or hell, just someone from across an ocean. #;-}>

Nemisis, you should consider programming the next one in C++ for portability reasons. Most people don't have the .net framework. You inspired me to make my own calculator. Its in C++ and its only a console cuz im still learning C++.

Just find NG Experiance Calculator

if you care.

Dude, I don't think your calculator factors in the experience decay properly. 5 years to reach level 29? Seems kinda low to me..

Are you sure you entered in all the data correctly/have a good copy? I just ran your numbers and didn't get anywhere close to 5 years.

Ya mine is a little off because it doesn't take full consideration of the HT52 effect. It's a damn bug. But when version 2 comes out,(summer....ish) it will be fixed. But what were your other impressions on it.

I'm refering to Cinjection's calculator, not the original.

You mean the layout and all? It's fine I guess, but considering that your calculator's only function is screwed up, you'd better fix it up if you want it to be useful.

Adding the experience decay into the calculations shouldn't be that hard, once you know the values anyway..

Response to Experience Calculator May 14, 2005

Ya, it would be an easy extra equation, but the production was somewhat rushed. I also have the B/P value calculator in there too. This whole thing was inspired by Nemisis' calculator. I wanted to take the idea and expand it to help the NG user.

Response to Experience Calculator May 14, 2005

grrr... i tried the first one, wouldn't let me open it, the next 3 times i tried to open the second one my internet connection gave out. But im scared to look anyway!

And redcircle? your picture scares me!

Dude, he made his using the .net, so you will have to have the .net framwork downloaded to run the program. Or you can use mine if you don't feel like downloading anything.
