Noticed a few people here mentioning Orlando... I don't live anywhere near that city. If the organizers decide on Orlando then I'd have to schedule a trip there. Would also have to learn the layout of the area where the meet would be held--the last time I went to Orlando was when I was a kid. (Disney World, what else?)

Factors to consider: Like every other major American metropolis, Orlando's road system is like a plate of spaghetti. If you haven't been there then when you go, expect to get lost at least once. It's also expensive. If costs are a concern then Jacksonville would definitely be cheaper. Orlando is a tourist magnet so if you decide on that town, be prepared for traffic full of out-of-state drivers.

Pen pusher, brush dragger, wood butcher & usual suspect.

You can check out my stuff in the folders here if you're bored at work.

I'm also helping to organize this event and we are planning on doing it for next year, so it wouldn't be happening this year. Nevertheless, we are happy to see people engaged! We also were thinking of doing it in Orlando, but we're open to other suggestions too. Stay involved!

Ya we kinda have a problem, last year was election time and everyone thought FL and USA would change a little to not do bad things. Now that is not possible with even traveling to FL would end you in Africa. ICE raids in FL have been picking up and the governor is more of a dictator than Trump. I don't believe next year will be safe, we might be looking at Florida as a dead state with no workers to farm, corporate leaving for better opportunities, near zero theme park visitors and high cost food.
