Sorry I totally forgot to respond to this. It's much better but still not quite right. Larry still has transparency around the edges, and when that gets flattened out their head looks like this:
Vault Boy and Spirou also need updating too
I downloaded IbisPaint and found a brush that may help. Didn't even have to search anything, it was just at the top which is very convenient
Download that brush and set the line thickness to 1, it should be exactly what you need.
Also a reminder that the heads have to go across the entire canvas, as right now they're just floating in the middle of it

Omg you just taught me something I’ve never knew about the app. But I think I did it this time, I used the brush you recommended me and I got rid of the transparent stuff. I think I will only do Larry since this took quite a bit

Thank you to everyone who has submitted so far, there are over 150 heads sitting in game right now which is so cool to see. Genuinely did not think we would get this many.
However there are still 12 claimed characters that have not been drawn yet. As a deadline warning to those who have claimed these unsubmitted characters, you have 1 week to act or you will lose these claims.
You can either draw your character by next Sunday or remove the yellow highlight on your character in the Google doc if you would like to keep the claim. Please only remove the highlight if you really think you'll get the submission done in time.
If you are no longer willing to draw the head or don't think you will get it done in time, you can either message me (in this thread or pms) or just simply let your claim expire.

Finished Strombonin and Kirby not long ago, have been procrastinating on Dusk as she's a harder character to draw with how large but skimpy her head is.
Been wanting to drop all three at the same time, but might as well drop what I have as of now.
Close ups:
Kirby's eyes might be a bit too black though, and looks a bit ugly in color, but idk.
Take it with a grain of salt, I am slower than a snail.

We love to see it. Don't worry about Kirbys eyes being too black, little amounts like that aren't an issue at all.

Personally I've been using Photoshop/Aseprite for my pixel art, these are paid apps though.
https://www.pixilart.com/draw looks to me like a pretty decent free website, though I haven't actually used it.
For the purposes of this collab I recommend you stay away from traditional drawing software, but you can likely find a different pixelated/alias brush for whatever you use.

I think it would be easier to check out https://www.pixilart.com/draw instead of drawing over a provided 32x32 canvas. It's free.
That being said here's a 32x32 canvas. Remember to follow the submission guidelines and claim your character in the doc :-)

Could I trouble you to remove the neck from the sprite? I'd also recommend changing the colour of the headphones to a lighter grey as they will not be visible on the games black background.

Krita is a free software you can easily download and use it to make pixel art. My pieces were done with it. Here where to find the pixel brushes in Krita:

Rules:

If your sprite breaks too many of these rules I will ask you to adjust/redraw it. Sorry if it's a bit much, but it's crucial for the game to actually be balanced and fun.
