Hello everyone, I have a cool new art collab for you all:

For this collab you will draw a pixel art head of a character of your choice. This little head sprite will then be used in a recreation of an old Mario bros. minigame called "Wanted!". If you're not familiar with this game, here's a youtube video with some gameplay:
The end result should be a more challenging and less repetitive version of the original game. There will also be a gallery feature to showcase all the heads drawn and credit the artists :)
Rules:
In order for the game to actually be fun and balanced, you have to draw your sprite under some specific guidelines. They've been written in full on the discord server, but for the sake of not filling this post with rules, here's a TLDR that covers most bases:
- Your image must be a transparent 32x32 png
- Your sprite must stretch across the entire canvas
- It's much more preferred if you draw a Newgrounds related character, but OCs are perfectly fine too. Just make sure no one else has drawn them already (check the Google doc linked below)
- Your head must have a solid black outline surrounding it
- Don't colour with solid black
- Don't make the head too small/thin/wide
- Only draw your characters head, no neck & shoulders
If your sprite breaks too many of these rules I will ask you to adjust/redraw it. Sorry if it's a bit much, but it's crucial for the game to actually be balanced and fun.

Submitting:
- The deadline for submissions is the 12th of January, 6 weeks from now. The game will then release on the 23rd of January (Pixel Day)
- You will need to provide the name of your character alongside the sprite, this is just for the gallery
- You can also submit multiple heads if you wish, but no more than 3
- There is a discord server for submissions with the full guidelines, but if you would rather not join then you can also submit here in this thread too

I may also open playtesting in the discord server too if you would like to get early access and help me balance the game :D
