These changes will essentially be invisible but will improve site performance and the long-term viability of feeds.

I love using the feeds, I check them every morning! It's nice when everyone I follow posts something, and it's cool to have one place to see everything. Out of curiosity, do views from your feed count toward the views on a piece of art? The thought never crossed my mind until now, that someone could be viewing the art from their feed and not necessarily visiting the art's page. Ultimately, view count is just a number and doesn't matter, but I wonder if that's how that works.

This is something we'd like to support as part of a complete redo of the PM system. Hard to put an ETA on that happening though.
