Cause of the pop-ups from a lot of old flash games loading or title screens, its history, and also the cool art I've seen on this website!
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!

Stumbled upon it randomly in the summer of 2005 while searching "Sonic vs" Mario" on Google. I loved crossovers as a kid so seeing animations of two 16-bit giants duke it out was amazing. I mostly remember the animations from @Randy-Solem who unfortunately passed away.

I had first heard about it circa 2009 while playing flash games on other sites that stole from NG, seeing the logo while launching the games
Made my first account in 2017 so I could see the A-rated content (teenage boys gonna teenage boy)
Do you people usually draw with left or right hand?
I didn't know I had to do off-topic stuff here.

Forgive me question, for I've been absent from the forums for quite some time: what's the purpose of this thread? What constitutes as "off-topic"? And was this thread made as a response to the General forum closing?

So true. Sometimes I can't work without a video essay. It's easier to listen to essays about stuff I don't know about because it's harder to disagree with the guy giving the essay.

I'm right-handed. I do occasionally challenge myself to draw with the left from time to time.
I remember participating in a opposite hand challenge thread last year [down below]. Perhaps we should open a new one?

General forum in Art Forum

Right hand artist here

How's it been?
And yeah kinda. Now instead of when people make
off-topic threads and they just get closed (for not being about art, critique, process etc...) you can just
casual interact here. It was a good thread idea!

Right hand. I'm just a generic vanilla right-handed person. xD But it's quite convenient actually. Eg. I get a much wider selection of guitars for example (leftie models are very often unavailable or out of stock) if I feel like purchasing one.

I'm a leftie so I just use my left hand.

Rightie so right. Tried drawing with my left but too lazy to make it work, figured I'd just use it as sacrificial limb to preserve the goods.

Like everybody else, I'm a right handed person.

I'm a fingered artist: when I can't use a tool in my right-hand, I use fingers from either hand, so....

Came here to because I want to level up my account. I was a little kid at the time (25 now) and thought levels were really important.
I'm still surprised that my account is older than most other accounts here.

Left hand, but only because my right hand doesn't really work.
The short version is that I had a stroke at an early age that messed up my right side, thankfully my cerebral palsy is not severe where I can still move my right arm and leg. I can at least still grip/grab stuff with my right hand.

it's horrible because people suspect he had an undiagnosed infection or possibly even cancer but he couldn't do anything to treat it because they wanted several thousand buckaroonies from him.

For digital, I use my left hand. And for traditional art, I use my right.

I suspect how people use internet forums has changed since I started using them.
I had a look through the last few pages of the previous Art Forum Lounge and while the activity is dropping off, there is some semblance of a dialogue that can develop.
Telling people what arm you use just seems like a lot of people broadcasting to others a minor detail about themselves. It’s not a conversation starter.

Turkey, I've been wondering lately, what hand do you use to open cupboards above shoulder height with? And how do you think that affects your interpersonal relationships?

Anything accomplished above shoulder height is more effectively completed with your mouth.

I don’t know that the “FURRY DIED” jokes are appropriate, the reason he died is actually pretty horrific. He either had a rare infection or lung cancer, apparently the worst his doctors had seen, and he just couldn’t get the help he needed as bills piled up. Was up coughing for hours and might have passed alone.
