That community is weird, I can agree on that.
YOU DONT KNOW THE HALF OF IT...

I have encountered a few bluey fans. Surprisingly, a lot of them are adults, claiming that bluey is their "comfort show" or something like that. But alongside the bluey community, there are other weird communities out there, like the Homestuck one. Or the Steven Universe community. I feel like the SU community is not talked about enough. They bullied a fan artist who almost killed themselves because they drew a character "too thin", and that's why they got bullied.

Heard about the last thing you said. One thing I heard about homesick fans is that they dyed their skin gray by dipping themselves in a bathtub with sharpies in it. I will say that it's insane the freaking Toby Fox did the music for homestuck

For a while Toby Fox was only known for the music he did for Homestuck.

A good chunk of the community's made up of middle-aged psychos who don't even like the games, they just think it'll fix the current state of their most-wanted's series. Every post I see from them is either a wishlist, complaining that said wishlist didn't come to fruition, or getting into slapfights with others because someone's wishlist didn't match theirs.

I could not agree more, although the proper word for "middle-aged psychos" would be men-children.

I'm glad I didn't discover Homestuck a few years earlier than I did.

Homestuck. Not even close.

I'd say the transformers fanbase can have some of the most mentally deranged members. They're up there with the IDW sonic fans

I've pretty much mainly sticked to smaller and niche fandoms, but I'd probably say that good contender would be the Scratch Mapping Community, which I used to be active there from 2019 to 2021 (when I was 12 to 14).

Given that the Scratch Mapping Community pretty much consists of 12 year old Polandball fans, you can probably imagine how the community would be like. I'm pretty sure there even was a point where Scratch took down some projects for being mapping/countryball projects.

why did i think BBS was an abbreviation of "Big Board (of) Stuff"

Hi there

Strawberry Shortcake.

I got doxxed and harassed all because I paired a character from another franchise with Strawberry instead of Huckleberry, and I also found a Strawberry Shortcake head canon that included austrian painter and other bad stuff.

my dad owns roblox

Honestly, it's hard to decide. Though, if I had to choose a couple, the most toxic internet community would be a three-way-tie between Sonic, FNAF, and Hazbin Hotel, and I'm saying this as someone currently in those fandoms. Sonic fans act like complete brats when a game doesn't cater specifically to their tastes and complain about a "lack of content", even though there's like a dozen pieces of media for the franchise released per year. There's also the several era culture wars which ultimately boils down to "the games I grew up with are good and everything that came after is bad".

The FNAF fandom, while not as bad as it was back in its heyday, still has its share of some truly toxic individuals. Interestingly enough, most of the controversies of the fandom stem from unofficial products rather than the official, retail games.

As for the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss fandom, I'll just leave it at that.

Probably Warhammer 40k, people take the lore wayyyy too seriously and have a fucking heart attack over the fact that some of their plastic toy soldiers are minorities.

This image should speak volumes

Lets be honest, all fanbases are shit.

Even if I decided to watch an episode of My Little Pony and happen to enjoy it, I would still say all bronies are cloppers.

(Edit: I just realized I responded to this thread before.)

I mean this isn't wrong.

Actually any conversation surrounding smash bros will prove to be toxic between the shilling for one's favorite character or franchise being playable, anything to do with Waluigi, certain competitive players being your average gamers talking shit, and the icing on the cake is when you say that Smash Bros is a party game instead of a platform fighter.

Whether you love or hate the community there's no winning in any discussion on it.

That just reminded me of those shitty porn ads that says "your neighbor is calling you and wants to fuck!"

now let me remind you of the one where an Asian girl is giving you a blowjob but she looks younger than 13

Was that game called "Nene's Blowjob Quest"?

Hands down DBD (Dead by Daylight) probably because the communities way of dealing with losing is rather...interesting to say the least
