Thankfully on Desktop it was never broken.

I logged onto Newgrounds surprised to have 0 notifications and when I clicked the bell icon, I found out I had around 20 new notifications.

Also, I'd like to add that I receive the notifications, like I can see them when clicking the bell. But don't get the red number that should let me know, nor while on the website does the orange flash appear.

In this moment I'm on mobile.

What browser is this and are you running any browser extensions? A browser extension or even a VPN could be blocking something specific there.

i run firefox with an extension called "geckium" but this bug only just started happening like 2 days ago

I do not have the same problem, but... And I apologize in advance if this is a really stupid remark, but that is almost exactly how pages from NG look when I save them with my Firefox and and open them again.

"Currently" the frontpage looks like this for me.

But if I save it and open it again, this is how it looks.

Playlists, including private/public lists, collections & series and playlists in general are not appearing when navigating through the mobile site. Bug appeared a couple days ago, not sure if anyones brought this up yet.

Mine is an iPhone yea, and the link is the page I screenshot. I feel it might just be my Safari bugging out...

There were some issues there on rollout so I wonder if you have an old cache that isn't refreshing.

Even went as far as deleting the cache and everything else (cookies, history, etc) via iPhone storage settings and it still doesn't load correctly. Might just be my phone finally acting up. (Time for a new phone!)

I'd say it's the issue that I already mentioned in this post here:

- Latest Playlists on profiles are missing the text.

- "Embeded NG-submission-link-box-thingys" are no longer displayed (at all). (Link to the post in question to make sure it's not just me.)

I cannot tell you how it relates to the different browsers, but the "must likely" candidate for that issue seems the code that populates what I will now amateurishly classify as "NG-Boxes":

- "NG-Boxes" that show playlist display as empty blocks.

- "NG-Boxes" that generate as the entries for playlists are empty.

- "NG-Boxes" that should show up as "super fancy NG-Link boxes" are completely invisible. (second example above)

I would "expect" that these things are using the same bit of code.

The code that creates the "not quite NG-Boxes" for "Latest From Your Friends & Favorites" on the frontpage works fine (at least for me), so my recommendation would be to investigate what differentiates that code from the code used to create "NG-Boxes".

Completely unrelated to the more current issues:

I just noticed that the "FEATURED CONTENT"-element (at the bottom of several pages) does not respect entries made under Blocked Users. (Or at least when it comes to News/Blog Posts.)

This is not a high-priority issue from my point of view. To me it feels "a little annoying".

Users who blocked other users over "abuse" (whether or not any actual abuse happened) will be more disturbed/angered by this.

Site-performance wise, it goes from "pull in the list of featured items" to "pull in the list of featured items, pull in all of their co-authors, check that against user's block list, removed entries with blocked authors, pull in replacements and check those against block list too until enough replacements are filled in" - although we could just not pull in replacements and have less items show up - but it would still add a bunch of additional lookups on every page to render the footer.

That is actually quite understandable. I had not considered how many pages that footer is actually displayed in...

Given how rarely the issue comes up for me, I retract my report/complaint.

We can't recreate this on our end but have pushed some changes live - is this still broken on your end, where playlists are missing text / other rich media links are no longer showing up?

Your bug actually turned out to be something different, your rich content link wasn't showing up because it was an audio entry where the project itself had been deleted but the view page remained.

Are you using a VPN or running any browser extensions you could try toggling off?

VPN no, but last I checked, I don't think there were any extensions installed on my Safari other than in the phone settings via Advanced Settings. Might have to double check it.

I did a test with a fresh install of my browser and it had the same issues - no browser Add-ons had been installed. (You received an email from me with further details.)
