I've seen a few comments promoting online casinos that should have been deleted a while ago. I've reported them all. Is there maybe an issue with the report system? I sense that might be a possibility.

iirc I reported them on the 11th. I assume it's just a throwaway account since they have no other activity, so I hope I commit no harm linking their comments: https://visotaf.newgrounds.com/reviews All are seemingly promoting random casino sites.

What makes me suspect an issue with the report system is that one of the comments were made on a "legendary" game: auto necrochess. Given that it has more traffic I assume that that comment in particular would get reported a lot.

Not a bug exactly, just a markup language question: When I upload pages of a comic here, I add links to the previous and subsequent pages in the description. Currently the default for url links in descriptions on Newgrounds, at least in my experience using Firefox, is that they automatically open the link as a new tab which is less tidy for the reader. Is there a way to modify url link behavior so the next page loads directly in the current tab?

I'm aware of gallery mode, but it's limited to ten images. The comic I'm currently posting is already up to 19 pages with another 40-50+ to go, so I'd still need to link the galleries anyways.

I think this is out in-site links worked in the past, then at some point all links started opening in new tabs. I filed a ticket to revisit going back to NG links remaining in-tab.

Cool, thanks. Even something as simple as having a html edit mode on descriptions would be nice tbh (I could just change the target or however you do it in html these days), although that opens up security problems wrt spammers and whatnot I imagine.

i looked in the faves and apparently the heart, friend symbol and message symbol showed up next to @ShangXian… why only him tho?

Is this a bug? If you're logged out, it still shows the [make a new thread]-[reply to this thread] buttons.

It doesn't make sense to me to be there if you're not logged in. Shouldn't it just show nothing or a button that says to login/register if you want to make a post.

It's arguable but having links like that can actually encourage people to sign up, for example if someone clicks the reply link and it opens the sign-in / sign-up form, that might give them the push they needed to make an account.

Hello Tom, I used to be scouted, after two scouts and no new realises i was unscouted, I accept that. The thing is that apparently @Creeperforce24 wanted to scout me but he told me I appeared as scouted, so my scouting situation is very confusing because on my profile i look unscouted so I'm lost. Possible bug? I was attempting to embed a YouTube video to my Frontpage Suggestions post then this happened.

When a forum post has multiple reactions, you can't check the list; it throws an error. One is okay.

Coverting any format to PSD automatically would be the wrong move (too large, proprietary format) and File Dump really shouldn't convert anything, since the entire reason I put it there is so forum doesn't autoconvert the animated picture to a static picture because it's too large. You're saving it there so you can retrieve the exact same file you saved later.

It's probably really just a wrong preview icon.

Ops! Sorry, I misread your earlier post. That was entirely on me. You stated clearly what you were talking about but I did not notice the embedded screenshot.

New bug to report - the spacebar stops working in the review box if you have a video in the video player loaded. Any attempts to use it just stop/start the video instead.

Quick update - its not just the spacebar that's broken with this new update. Seems the video player controls take priority over typing in the review box.

Another update: the video player seems flat-out broken, freezing if I try to replay a video.

Here's a few more:

- Typing in a Report box in the Movie Portal will be interpreted as commands for the player.

- Latest Playlists on profiles are missing the text.

- "Embeded NG-submission-link-box-thingys" are no longer displayed (at all). (Link to the post in question to make sue it's not just me.)

(All of this started after the maintenance 5-ish hours ago, so I'm sure you are aware.)

I've also experienced that issue when writing reviews in the movie portal. When I try to type a "," or ".", it moves the video forward or backward instead of placing "," or "." in the review field.

In the Author Comments, the images and GIFs are broken. That wasn’t the case previously, even when edits were made to the project.

Hi Tom. I can't somehow rate anything right now. Arts, videos, music. It's doesn't work. I'm on an android.

Issue with Placing GIFs and images. They always appear at the bottom instead of going where they were dragged. Previously, you could drag images and GIFs to a specific place in the text, and they would show up there.

I clicked on the emotes to see more details, and then I got stuck on an empty loading icon. It doesn't move; it just stays frozen. Tried with Edge, Chrome, Brave, and Firefox.

This is the same on all news posts, and BBS posts.

This is due to us not having a WebP image, will need to make one of those although we should probably change all graphics files to some sort of more universal image.

I’m currently not able to vote on anything. I’m assuming this is a glitch since others have already mentioned it. I’m using my phone to try and vote on things. It’s still letting me click the “Favorite” icon though.

Voting is broken on mobile at the moment, both Android and iPhone.
