The invite was using the old template, it will be updated when next month goes out. Hoping it doesn't deter too many people this month!

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Probably won't deter too many - its obvious that Sep 6 is not the deadline.
Hey Tom, a couple other users and I noticed that for whatever reason, the frontpage badge was taken off of our artworks that we know were featured previously.
For example, here is a screenshot I took while a drawing of mine (the mario one on the top row) was on the frontpage, and now the medal isnt on it anymore.
I know there was an update very recently, so maybe it has something to do with that?
I'm the best for a reason.
Hi! Here to back up @TheBestBroster
Here’s a screenshot I took when I saw my post got frontpaged on September 1st:
And here’s the link to the post, now without the badge: https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/zynthstar/freddy-fazbear
Thank you for your time! :]
I'm also here to back up @TheBestBroster & @ZYNTHSTAR.
I've noticed that some of my artworks which is frontpaged had their badge disappear for some reason,
if my memory is serving me right, I remember these artworks of mine having a front-page badges.
yet somehow out of the sudden, its badges kapoof'd out of the existence.
I highly doubt that this is on purpose, but rather some sort of bug, since when I check out the latest featured artworks on front-page, they don't have the badge either.
(wouldn't it be funny if it turns out that there's a front-page badge thiefs who steals all the badges?)
I may not be the brightest in the box full of light-bulbs, but that doesn't mean I can't light the way in this dark world.
(you can call me wilson or mawi if you want, I'm also the one who made skibidi club.)

The front-page medals don't show up, but they're not gone. If you check the Featured tab in the Art Portal (it probably affects other portals as well) and scroll down, the badges after today's have disappeared, but the art is still considered featured art.

There's been some work happening in the medals space, something must have broken there. Should be sorted out today!
Hello Sir and Ma'am I saw that a lot of the previous front-paged art awards have disappeared and I’m not sure what happened. I thought it was a new rule because I noticed some of the recent front-paged art still has the award, but the older ones are now gone. Here’s my proof sir:
This is Back in August 15:
and now:
Sooo I'm not sure if it’s a bug or not but yeah that’s all.

When you are preview your game with multiple authors, when i press show all authors, it appears this error:
(EDIT: Also it happens the same in the Art Portal and maybe other portals too.)

Noted!
I am not following nor friends with ElRandomGMD
I was wondering if I was accidentally added to the project by mistake, or mentioned somewhere, but I find nothing.
Edit*
Sorry, turns out I was actually following one of the artists participating in the collab. My mistake.
On the Posts by (insert user here), the images here doesn't show up.

hello. don't know if this was reported before but I just noticed I am getting notifications for a reply to a reply to a reply to my forum post.
I would suppose it's not intentional behaviour.

That's actually intended behavior because you're in the quoted text, despite it not always being ideal.

I assumed you had no interest in being mentioned in this instance.
Unsure if it counts as a bug, but when I view animations in the art portal my browser (Chrome 128.0.6613.138 64-bit) really struggles with it in a way it doesn't when I watch gifs on other sites. It also takes a relatively long time for the loop to finish loading and replaying smoothly.

I wonder if they could be compressed to a video format on other sites, or if it's something with the animated WebP format that is more work to process. Can you think of any examples of someone's same animation, on NG and another site?

Added a zip to my dump files, as I can't upload .mkv files directly. (Apologies for it being a bit risqué): https://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/6c7c94409cce689e4627b786e1ab78cf
And it's more a "feeling" than something you can see, but the animation playing on Newgrounds in the chrome tab makes the whole browser feel sluggish, but only when the tab is in focus. Firefox doesn't have that problem, and the animation plays smoothly there, though it might play slower than intended when compared to the animation posted to Twitter.

Twitter to my knowledge does convert animated gifs to a video format, while the version on NG is a 5.8 meg WebP... That could explain the slower loading (although ideally we'd load 5.8 megs pretty fast) but the fact that it runs slow afterwards is probably also the video vs WebP. One of our goals is to allow short videos in the Art Portal, at which point they could just upload that as a looping video. We could also convert animated gifs to video but that could get some unwanted compression results.

Small addition (no screen recording tho): Played the animation on NG on my smartphone's Chrome browser, and it's playing just fine there as well. Almost as fast as the Twitter animation, too. So it could just be my computer getting too old.
not sure if this is new but it's the first time im seeing it personally. i found an audio submission with no author attached to it
idk if the link embeds properly on the forum... if it doesn't, the number for it is 45767 (as in audio/listen/45767 , with all the rest of the URL before that)
EDIT: also just realized i cannot scroll through the reviews on it. when i try to go to page 2 it says "Param doesn't exist"

Goes back to an old bug with account deletes, added it to our ticket for tidying up.
Someone suggested I move this to here when I originally posted it to "Suggestions to Tom". I forgot this thread existed, haha. I'll repost it here so it might be easier to keep track of.
Anyway, a friend using Firefox tried adding new tags to some of his artwork and the description was wiped in the process of doing so.
Someone please help me revive my clubs
I have noticed some possible award issues.

The Weekly top 5 on the following P-Bot post are not showing their Weekly awards on their individual content pages:

Some of the Games and Movies listed on Monthly voting results pages are showing possible mismatched/missing/unearned Monthly awards on their individual content pages. The formatting on some of the older results pages is broken, and sometimes other Movies are being discussed and displayed in addition to the winners. I tried to account for that and not include any pages that I could figure out. There are some results pages with Movies that are no longer viewable on NG for one reason or another, and this sometimes seemed to effect the numbering of the awards on the individual content pages. I'm not sure if the reason for the content removal is the difference, so I did include those pages.

Game #2, which links to a 'deleted' 'eulogy' page, seems to be skipped over. Game #4, which is still present, is also skipped.

This is probably not a complete list. I just happened to notice these while doing other research.

I noticed a number of Weekly 1st winners, uploaded after the Frontpaged award went live, that did not receive the Frontpaged award. Since 19 or so years is a long time, I assumed at first that they had simply flown under the radar. But I later ran into some prominent names, and there were also a few that won Weekly 1st, Daily 1st AND Review Crew. It made me wonder if this was a glitch, new or old. Unfortunately, this probably isn't a complete list, as I was doing other research and not specifically looking for these:
