Good morning/afternoon/evening, y'all. I'm Atraxi because I couldn't think of a better username (it's a Doctor Who reference for those not in the know). I've lurked for around a year or two, but it took until November 2021 for me to actually take the plunge and get myself an account.
If I don't hang around the General forum, I'll probably try pitching in on the Programming forum and offering the advice I have. That's all for now.

Hello I´m Cicada00!!, i'm new in newgrounds, my goal here is to share the art I make, I like cool stuff like graffiti and hip-hop and my hobbies are the normal ones, you know videogames, anime, etc...

Languages I know so far: Python, PHP (self-taught), JavaScript (also self-taught), C# (self-taught, and it was more familiar to me because of Java), and that's about it.
Languages I am learning: Java (for computer science stuff at school).
Software/hardware: Mostly software-focused.

That sounds like a good foundation! Can you already code together bits of software for particular tasks? Any github or similar out there you're contributing to; toying around with?
Been dabbling just with the web-based stuff myself, but at this point I don't know if HTML/CSS even classes as programming. Can read JS/PHP/SQL but not write from scratch. Realized I was really more of a design person.

Posted this way too late (real life got in the way) but I can code together a CRUD site with PHP, JavaScript (Node.js and React), Python (Flask), and Ruby (Rails). No real open-source projects. My latest project was a Python-powered web crawler and before that a Java Discord bot.
My next language on the list to learn is Rust. 99% of people who I tell that to immediately point out how Rust is overrated and I want to see if they're true about it or they're engaging in another one of the Internet's infinite pissing contests. Only time will tell.

No worries at all, life tends to do such things. That sounds like a good foundation... if you ever need some hosting space for some simple project site lemme know, I have some to spare there. But maybe Github has everything already.
Interesting to know that too. It seems to be used everywhere these days, for example with: https://ruffle.rs/
Thinking of that project in particular I do hope it's not... better it's one of the languages here for the long haul.
