i got tired of deviantart's compression ruining the sharp pixellation of my art so i came here, where the image integrity is much better preserved, if not uncompressed entirely.

Recently I decided to come back to Newgrounds after I heard of the success of Friday Night Funkin' and, other than that I've seen a lot of cool animations, music and games over here and I'm glad to be back!

Hello, Cola here. I used to come here for movies and games back in 2003 and visited sparingly since then but never really had an account. I made some fan songs and original songs back in 2011-2013 and went on a long hiatus as I focused on high school and college.

I always had warm, nostalgic feelings for NewGrounds whenever I'd see cameos of Pico and Tankman out in the wild. It's really awesome to see this place survive the death of Flash as well as see somewhat of a resurgence when Friday Night Funkin' came around.

woah!, it must have been cool for you to visit newgrounds in the early 2000s!, i was born back in 2004, and i discovered it in 2009 (probably), if i could be born in 1988 i could discover newgrounds in the late 90s/early 2000s, well, i've lurked in NG before and back in february i made an account where i upload ms paint art, if you want you can check my art gallery, in the first drawing i made for my account i included tankman in it!

I was still in grade school so I couldn't really contribute much lol, but I did spend countless hours in the computer lab at school watching stuff before they blocked it.

Hello whoever might read this.

In this following months I will be attempting to release a couple of video games. The first will be an action platformer shooter with cartoony graphics about a fox seeking revenge over some farmers. I have decided I would consider Newgrounds as a platform to share news and updates even though the games will not be released here, as they are too large and demand too many resources that WebGL just cant afford without slowing down.

I will look into posting short demos , GIFs and what not... art and music aren't really my thing.

Anyhow here is a screenshot, it looks pretty meh, but I've only been working on it for a week. Really did get something up and running quick, that was a goal:

Again, it looks pretty bland for now, and some sprites have literally been made in Paint as placeholders, but I'll keep uploading to keep a sort of journal.
