If it's something that makes you happy, why not? But don't burn yourself out.

Short of knowing Spanish and Russian, there aren't any huge leg-ups minus just knowing what GD songs are typically posted to youtube. Usually a thief will straight up admit the song is stolen.

Anyone familiar with soundtrap.com and whether or not music created from that site is allowed here? Using loops is obviously a red flag but what about their instruments or samples? I've heard that Soundation isn't allowed because of site copyright, but Soundtrap doesn't seem to explicitly mention that in their TOS—they also don't mention the explicit rights of stock Content created by them, other than Your Content (implied to be your own sounds).

Asking because I found a track that lists Soundtrap as its program source.

Looks possible that it's their own work. Waveform doesn't look professionally mastered, and I can recognise some of the (free) samples they used. Cymatics (one-shots) for some of the drums, and I believe the piano and/or strings came from one of the Bigcat Instruments VSTs.

Just to add, even if a song you reported does get removed you can still lose whistle points if your report was particularly unhelpful. You get points for a good report, not just for getting songs removed.

Oh okay thanks. I found that a year ago. Im guessing people steal songs and change titles so their music doesn't get deleted.

They might just keep it untitled, or not even bother to title it properly and mash their keyboard. Sometimes they slightly make the title different to make it harder for people to thanos snap it too easily. Most people stealing songs just do it to put it in geometry dash for their level music.
