Oh god damn it not again.

*Gets audio removed again*

Songs made using premade loops are NOT allowed, music made in Soundation and Magix Music Maker is also not allowed.

For crying out loud I don't use premade loops and samples, I make my own instruments.

And as for Magic Music Maker, it's the proper version and not Jam.

This happened three years ago, I thought we cleared this up back then!

Ouch.We've had tons of problems with Magix users in the past. The policy used to be just to straight unpublish, but like you mentioned, that was with duplo MMJ submissions. Is this issue still ongoing with unpublished audios? Shoot me a PM and I'll take a look.

Audio has been double checked. I ended up removing tracks earlier this morning while going through a long list of songs that had been flagged recently. Seems I accidentally skimmed over the notes for 4 of the 5 flags incorrectly. That being said, Honkpilled is staying unpublished as mashups are not allowed, please keep that in mind for the future; thank you. Ban has been removed, resent a scout invite to fix the screw-up for the 4 that shouldn't have been removed this morning.

That track sounds like a legit garageband user :o

It's a rare case, but lets not forget software like Garageband, Soundtrap and even Magix can be used on a legit way.


Most people rely on the audio clips libraries built in the software (which it's indeed against the rules), but there's some rare instances, when people use the built in vsts to make original work.

Oh ok! I was suspicious of them since all their social medias were gone, too. I'm assuming they got hacked or something which is why all of their accounts suddenly vanished or were wiped clean?

Actually, that's the standard way of reporting stolen audio here. Linking said audio, followed by the original content, almost always a YouTube link. It makes it so much easier for moderators to verify that it is rule-breaking/stolen. Also gets you Whistle points to flag stuff helpfully. You can still lose points if your flag report is not helpful.

I just realized all their videos and stuff from other platforms disappeared.

That's strange indeed. By the time they verified, everything was normal.

Actually, how exactly did you verify visceralsounds, @LexRodent ? Because this seems like an obvious impersonator to me. One thing being they claim to have "forgotten their youtube password" and that they'll make a new one, even though about a week after this was said, Viscerality's videos went private. Not to mention, the Forgot Password function would have been very helpful, so they're not using it for a reason.

That account was verified via link to their Newgrounds account in one of their videos , before those went private.

Said video was (still is , but in private state) on Viscerality's only Youtube channel :

I saw some of their songs getting posted by GD players before, so when that account appeared , I had my doubts too.

So unless someone hacked that youtube account for the sole purpose of validating the NG profile, that one is legit.

You're right about there having been a link to that NG account on their videos, but the link was there since before they deleted their NG account, and before it was registered again sometime this month. The account was around from 2016 to early 2020 when it was deleted, and then it was registered again. Here's the account from 2016, and from 2019 shortly before it was deleted alongside their other accounts.

I was unaware they have been on the AP before, disappeared and then re-appeared.

Makes no sense to delete their profile just to re-make it short after.

I'll dig some more into it.
